David Banner - The God Box [Out Now]

Was trying to find the credits to this since livemixtapes nor datpiff had them, and this is the closest i found to the exact list. It may be missing one song, not sure. This is a very good tape though. David Banner is really talkin that **** on here, and it's perfect timing based on what's happening in the country right now. It's a very content driven tape, without being cheesy and corny like other attempts people have had trying to spread a message onto rap records. If this is any indication of The God Box, this is an automatic purcahse. I am curious how many songs on here will be on the official albums though. Always thought David Banner was underrated as an MC, as I'm sure casual listeners of him probably think his music is mostly Like A Pimp and Play, when that couldn't be further from the truth. Very good fitting production throughout too. My Uzi, Black Fist, Pain, and F La Policia are the immediate standouts, with a good amount of other nice tracks too. Believe, Swag, and Amazing are older tracks though, all from Banner's 'Sex, Drugs, and Video Games' mixtape from 2012 I think.

Plan on checking this out later today. Been waiting since last year for that "The God Box" album.

Looking at this mixtape: Believe, Swag & Amazing are old as hell. They were on his last mixtape called S*x, Dr*gs & Video Games lol.

That My Uzi song came out earlier this year If I'm not mixtape and it's pretty good.

Evil Knievel came out last year and I wasnt' really rockign with it.

Really want to hear that "Welcome to Mississippi" joint. Been telling people for years that Tito Lopez is the truth. If you want to listen to Mississippi artists you have to check out, David Banner, Tito Lopez, 7even Thirty & Big Krit.

Only clicked cus it was avail on Spotify. Not even a fan but this joint is pretty dope.
Had no expectations besides son kicking knowledge, the music sounds really good.

Had listened to it as well. It's good, but I wasn't feeling that he had multiple tracks that had already been out for over a year. I think 4-5 songs had been released way before hand, some on his 'Before The Box' mixtape. That pushback really killed a lot of steam for this.
