First previewed by Jordan Brand digital brand manager Danny Nunez on Instagram that used the hashtag #KD9, giving us credibility that these are indeed Kevin Durant’s next signature silhouette.

From the first look of the mini edition of the KD 9 it will be built with a low-cut construction once again that includes groove details on the lateral forefoot, and also comes without any straps included on this design.

I thought they resembled adidas too when i saw this pic.

Looks like a Lillard . Hell all the adidas bball models since they basically all look the same in lows.


I hope they dont use that dumb fuse crap on the midfoot-toe box area. Started with the 5s and it got more narrow each model after. I could barely get my foot in the KD8 when i tried on a pair. And i dont have wide feet at all.

Looks like theres heel zoom at least. But i can already tell its that sleeve sock liner thing nike has been doing. I hate that crap too.

Like how these cleats are that i had to return .. why cant they just make a regular tongue/tying system anymore

If they went with more of a reinforced Flyknit, it's a step backwards in my opinion.  The flyweave upper gives you that woven/softer material but better targeted support with less use of overlays/glue/etc.

I can't remember where, but I saw one of the blogs had a sheet that had the price of them to be $150. I hope that's true.

Full length zoom the material is more woven then Flyknit and it's more of a mid as opposed to a low.

The upper is like a one piece bootie
