I've played in all adidas latest bball shoes and i still prefer KD9's set up. The crazy explosive is mad comfy but it's too cushy for me. Harden 1 is low profile but you can't really feel the boost and its stiff as hell. The crazy light has very weird sizing and felt very unstable.

It'll still comes down to preference and i understand every feet is different though

I haven't tried the Dame 3.

I prefer Bounce to boost for the reasons you mentioned, want to try the Dame 3 as well but so far I'm loving my KD 9 on court. Very low profile for such an effective cushion.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on the birds of paradise on ndc with the clearance discount they have going on for 106 shipped, good enough price for me....hopefully my tts works for me!

I know people don't like hearing it, and I'm too married to the swoosh but I've heard great things about Adidas basketball sig shoes.  Harden 1, LIllard 2 and then I've heard the Explosive are all great performers.  I don't think they would ever take over Nike because Nike has too many big names but if you line up Adidas sigs and Nike sigs, Adidas might outperform Nike as a whole.  These KD 9s are great but there's a drop off with the Bron's and Kobe's
Some people are saying the Kyrie 3's don't look like a sig, but take away the Harden logo from the 1's and they look like your typical Adidas basketball shoe that you'd find at Ross/Marshalls

I'm loyal to the swoosh as well, but look at the tech in the Harden vs Kylie's THIRD sig. Full length Boost vs a tiny heel Zoom "unit", more like a small piece. The Kyrie is basically a standard Nike basketball team shoe with better style

This is the furthest thing from the truth. The tiny logo on the tongue has nothing to do with how great the Harden 1s look.

I feel the same way.  I'm so loyal and blinded by the swoosh lol.  Adidas sigs are outperforming Nike sigs.  The Nike basketball line has been decent (hyper revs have been decent and I've heard good things about this years hyper dunk).  Nike had a chance to do something crazy and special with Kyrie and Lebron and they didn't.  The finals packs were cool but from a performance standpoint and with their new sigs releasing, Nike didn't push the envelope.  The KD 9 is the one holding its weight against the Adidas sig shoes.

Exactly and the worst part is look at the price of the hyperrev and look at the performance of the hyperdunk. And put them together you get the KD 9. It just shows Nike knows how to make great shoes, and knows how to price them correctly but would rather flip us the bird.

I'm done complaining because I don't pay retail, but I eat up their best products. Hopefully the gray pair of the Kobe AD was just an isolated miss fingers crossed*

No confirmed release date. But the last 2-3 Aunt Pearl drops have been around February or so.
ok that's not too bad

Aunt Pearl release date, 1/29 but it's a Sunday so not sure how accurate it is.
possible since Nike has a lot of rds. And I never really messed with the 9s due to them being so difficult to put on my feet. Do they get easier to insert your feet in with time or is it always a pain in the ***?

I got a nice metal shoe horn from Nordstrom just for these shoes. They are much easier with it now.

But I play ball in the birds of paradise pair and for those I don't need the shoe horn. Almost slips right on. Due to the fact I play ball and then and they stretched out. But I use the shoe horns for new pairs I get, makes it obviously much easier after using it.

It may just be me, but those Harden 1s give off real Converse Wade vibes. Not a fan.
i

Lilard 2s though, might be my favorite hooping shoe this year. Can't wait to give these 9s a go though. All the tech you get for that price is awesome.

Had a $20 VIP coupon and a $25 gift card so I finally gave in...this colorway had me from the drop, super clean.

Got to put 2 hours on them yesterday, and have to say it's a very impressive shoe on court.  I play on a pretty regular court, a bit dusty at times, and I thought the traction was on point, despite the numerous reviews saying traction was meh.  The on foot comfort of the full zoom is phenomenal, don't even think these will need much break in.  My feet felt great after 2 hours of pickup.

Only negative would be the entry into the shoe. That neck is super narrow, and with no separate tongue, the shoe is pretty tough to get into, but once in, it's a sock like fit.  I have very narrow feet so I can see how people say it's a narrow shoe, but spot on with length, and nice room in the toe box.

Even though I vowed not to buy another KD shoe after he left the Thunder, this model may be a problem.  Those Aunt Pearls look great.

^^^ agreed on everything- my favorite shoe of thr year. Got 3 pairs already and may grab press and aunt pearls. Or the Duke PE if they release.

Waiting for discounts is tough....you wait too long  and you miss out on your size or a decent deal.  I think between Nike's big signature shoes, these might be the better of them all.  Flyknit, full length zoom, great performer.  Out of all the sig, basketball athletes, I feel like Nike tried the hardest with the KD this year.

Agreed... Disappointed in the Lebron XVI. Nike had plenty time to give us a sleeker design than this. Smh...

Love my Kd9s. Im a Big Time Zoom Air lover. Although I don't ball, i pounce around everywhere I go when i wear these.

The discounts on these are already out there. I got my TBs for $100 during a holiday sale and citygear had the blue pair for 75 (they might even still)

Speaking of outlets and lower pricing. I pick these up from my local Nike outlet for $91. Must of been a return as they were $119 with an additional 30% off.

Are these better than full zoom kobe 11s

I've been trying to find the answer to this and the consensus seems to be no. BUT the price difference is about double/half, so for the money I think it's too close performance wise to give the edge to the Kobes.

If I can hunt down a pair of Lebron 11s for the low then I'll be able to compare the two myself

Got my unlimiteds today from the Nike sale.. They feel better than I expected.. First KD's i've owned since the IV's which were wild uncomfortable

Cant wait to play in em
