Im confused. "Who" as in the individual athelete? How can you possibly know which performs better if you dont test both for yourself. Surley we all look at performance reviews but everyone feet and style of play differs.
 
I meant the shoe. I can't test both so I can't be sure which is really better but reviews are helpful. If the bron 14 is like the Kobe ad and has that many problems then i won't get it.

The Lebron 14 and KD 9 are damn near the same shoe from what I've seen.... the Brons look a tad bit bulkier, have a higher cut and aren't Flyknit. But they're both a "bootie" and have Zoom...


I hoop in the KD9 currently and I love them... Zoom throughout the shoe AND Flyknit for $150.... you can't beat that. The Tech in the Lebron 14 doesn't justify the $175 price tag...

I have to disagree with you a tad. I too have the KD9s.....3 pairs. Like i know, the Kd9 has a uni-constructed, one piece upper design. The shoe fit like a glove, the laces almost feel non-existent up onto the very top. The same with the Lebron 13 and the 12 as far as the one piece upper. However the flyknit makes the Kd9 feel more free and more breathable. The articulated forefoot is exceptionally amazing. LeBrons on the other hand materials free stiff (until broken in) and isnt as breathable.

It kinda doesn't make sense to wanna further constrict the foot with a one piece bootie, shoe laces, and a strap on the 14s.

They differ in the cushion department; Full length low profile zoom vs mapped bottom loaded zoom pods. You can feel the full length zoom through the whole entire foot stride. The pod zoom setup does give some sort of cushioning but not as effective. Surely they are gonna feel different in terms of responsiveness.
 
I'm sure other foot locker stores are the same prices.

I went to another on and they also had white multi, all black pair that is also on sale. Also $99

Patiently waiting on the navy/purple pair and grey to hit $99. Almost every color on sale of Kobe Elites as well for $99 at Foot Locker.

Same, waiting for that one as well. Along with the battle gray. Would have bought today if they had been on sale. But only see the black, multi, red and unlimited for $99.

No KD9 for me today, but I did pick up the Barcelona and innovations Kobe 11 for $99 each. Love these price drops, on good shoes.

Speaking of FTL the bday coupon jig is over right? I used to just pull up the image from niketalk and show the cashier for 25 off. Any other way to get a discount off that 99? I'll see what my stores have round here
 
I'm surprised this shoe has gotten anything but praise. I mean how would you even improve upon it?

Yup. I think that's over with. I used to do the same thing. Lol. They smartened up.

You can also use your VIP rewards to get $10-$20 off. I used it to grt the Kobe 11 from $99 down to $89.
