Usually max air is given on the GS models. But lets have a close up pic on any of his PEs. If there's a zoom fiber or not.

Where'd you get the air max for KD PEs info? First time I've heard of that.

Sole Brothers mentioned it a while back when talking about how players get special cushions. Can't find the vid tho

We had pics on weartesters last year in
the playoffs when he was testing them. His pair then had air max but now it is zoom like we get. And yes, air max used to be mushy and zoom was tight and stiff, but now max is really stiff and zoom feels soft.

I agree that players receive special PEs like Kyrie's full length zoom "Lunar" Hyperdunk 2013s (I think the solebros was talking about the Kyrie3s when they mentioned that) and Pippen with zoom on his Air Pippens. KD probably had a prototype or a weartest pair last playoffs or probably feeling out different cushions but since the season started, he's been using max zoom. He hasnt done the Westbrook yet.

It is strange how zoom has gotten mushier while air max has gotten stiffer. Why have Nike changed the bags? Is it linked to concerns over busted higher pressure zoom bags?

One of my issues with the KD9s is that most of the pairs I've tried have had mushier zoom. Only the white summer pack pair I had and the new red/white pair I picked up this week have slightly stiffer zoom. I like a responsive, bouncy zoom experience and the KD 9s really don't fit the bill for me. The summer pack and red/white pair I have are only borderline acceptable. This is unfortunate because I like the design of the shoe and really want full length zoom to work. The 9s are probably going to end up as shoes I only wear for working out, shooting around, and casual. I'm disappointed at that prospect...

Unfortunately, while I love the shoe, I think the same goes for me. It's perfect at everything except driving quickly to the basket/making hard cuts/perimeter defense. Unfortunately that's mainly what I do on the court lol.

One of the best shoot around shoes ever though.

Man I would cop the BoPs if the sole wasn't white. 75 is a good price?

Im eyeing them too for 75$

But the review(s) above me is swaying me towards saving my bread

I need to be able to make hard cuts and drive quickly

I have had some of the same issues with the kd 9. They are very comfortable and flexible for workouts and casual wear. I love working out in them!
But with the soft and flexible materials used sometimes it feels like the shoe gives too much on hard cuts and sudden stops while balling. A few times it felt like my foot was about to roll or bust out of the shoe, As u can see in the Gordon Hayward pic.

I think I'm set with my one pair, the Mic Drops.

I like them and have worn them a good bit. I don't typically buy the same model in more than one color unless it's certain Jordan retros.

So with that...I'm outta here.

KD 9s are starting to dry up in NYC... I can only find the newer releases in my size

either $99 is the sweet spot and they're selling out or they about to hit the outlet in droves

same here. All I need is 1 for most shoes. I was trying to wait and see if they would drop an elite all FK upper or at least that original multi colorway, but its too late for that. If I cant find the Olympics by February I'll get 1 of the 5+ black based pair before they dry up. Nike definitely dropped the ball on this silhouette.

Nicely put.
