Well unfortunately flyknit for ids and GR pairs differ quality wise but maybe Nike will surprise. I saw the away cw in the ID thread and even though the blue on the toe box was slightly lighter the shoe still looked pretty good.

Yea I don't think I'll rush to make an iD. If they make a decent enough GR, it'll save me at least $45 and won't have to deal with sketchy looking flyknit.

I didn't see light grey as an iD option, probably to prevent people from making a similar pre-heat iD. But assuming the dark grey is the same as the Kobe 11 iD dark grey, it'll be painted as well.

Played in these and they were fantastic. Great support and so comfortable in both the upper and cushioning. Only issue I had was there was times where the flex in my forefoot seemed to be where the space between the airbags was so it felt a little odd. Great shoes for casual wear. Hope there's more coming out that are solid colorways.

Both "Heather" options have Anthracite listed as the secondary color between either Black or White. I think it just means you'll see that subtle mix of coloring on the flyknit, whereas the solid colors will just be painted the one color.
From the iD thread, you can see that its not just solid white underneath the honeycomb type pattern
