Nike Air VaporMax

Thank you!
Thank you, and no offense taken! Always open to opinions and thoughts from others.

I actually did not know that... I guess perhaps it's just me and my stride. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think any Nike Lunar running shoes doesn't have that support for supination, and the foam wears out way too fast.

I highly recommend that these shoes should NOT be worn for any cross-training or multidirectional training purposes. A sole with that kind of pattern and the lack of structural support for squats is a no-go. At least that's just me!

Lol I'm doing physical therapy for my doctorate so glad I could help. And you're absolutely right. Matter of fact teachers of mine have said DO NOT CROSS TRAIN IN FLYKNITS. Just as you said. No multidirectional support at all (FK trainers weren't horrible though a bit more stable) And they wear out fast on the soles. If you do use them for squats which I do knowing I should just too cheap to buy other shoes... Be careful because your foot slides laterally. Shouldn't be a problem at first but after a while it could seriously mess you up if you're doing a lot of weight. These are walking/ running straight shoes only.

U wanna train? go get vomeros the support is excellent. Helps counter the over supination. And the soles are super durable. Thinking of ordering a pair eventually.

At first the supination support in lunarepics is fine. Keeps your foot in neutral but like we agreed after it wears down in 2-3 months it just stresses the ankle tendons/muscles. Into a constantly overstretched position.

What kind of lunar are you running in?

Lunarepics. Best lunar sole I've had so far was on some livestrong lunar glides from like 2006 or so. Yellow with black/grey soles. Wish I could find those again. Much more durable they did something to the outsole that made it durable and the upper was mesh material. Still breathable and light. The outsole was also kind of extended past the foot. If

Thats actually the main shoe I was running in. It's an amazing shoe; great for long-distance runs, too. I've only ran in the ZV11s and 12s, but I hear the 10s are better.

Yeah, that foam's structure doesn't hold up too well over a short period of time.

God damn it, Nike. ONE AT A TIME, PLEASE!!!

For those wondering, both are going to be on nike.com/nikelab.

"NikeLab offers a neutral colorway of the Air VaporMax, available April 27 at nike.com/nikelab and select retailers."

I'ma need to send them a message about the white/blue colorway to see if that's available in men's also.

looks good but I think plats are enough for light uppers, bring on the darker colorways already

1 asphalt is enough for me but Im doubling on those whites (Oreo) for sure.

Where are the colorways with no translucent soles?!  The blue/black coming?  Or maybe I'll wait until next year's 2.0 version so they can work out the kinks from the first model.  Though it's doubtful Nike will change the sole until 3-4 years down the road unless there's a major issue, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Good news for everyone here, especially the NikeLab Triple-Black seekers.

APRIL 18, 2017 / NIKE SPORTSWEAR

NIKEID AIR VAPORMAX
On April 20, NIKEiD launches personalization of the Nike Air VaporMax with two upper options, black and black/white, and seven sole colors: orange, volt, turquoise, blue, pink, clear and black. The black sole option includes the additional opportunity to choose between seven colors for the swoosh.

Yes, you CAN re-create the all-black. Of course, no reflective Swoosh nor anthracite fusing... at least not yet in those pictures.
