Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Available in July

Has anyone played in the regular HDs yet? just wondering how the sizing goes compared to the flyknit - be interested to see how the lows far out compared to the flyknit version.

I tried them out (flyknit version)...went down a .5 from my usual 11 due in part to there being so much toe space. Even still, the 10.5 had a bit of toe space. Crazy enough I tried on a 10 and it was the right length but way too tight. Enough of that. Took the 10.5 for a quick spin on the court. Cushioning is great. The shoe hurt the top of my foot so bad that my feet went numb...zero exaggeration. Thought it just needed some break in time, but I couldn't endure any more. Had to take them off due to so much pain. For reference I've not really had a shoe that's hurt my foot like that before. Retuned them to the store. Bummed because in the limited time I wore them (30 min) I was impressed with the lockdown cushioning and weight of the sneaker.

So I bought the hyperdunk 2016 elite FK. Same history, half size down and the toes were killing me. I took the insole out and was very high. So I traded the insoles with a Kyrie 2. The kyrie now have some decent cushion (yeah the insole is that good) and the hyperdunk has lost some of the incredible cushion but still has zoom. The good thing is both shoes became better. Now I can wear the hyperdunk with no pain since the kyrie insoles are lower.View media item 2104881

I like these, but not feeling the price tag. I'm interested in what they do with them.

So going a half size down is really tight on the toes? I've seen reviews were they say half size down still had lots of room on the toe box. What size do you wear by the way?

It's tight above the toe. They fit really snug in the front. But even with half size down, still have free space in front of the toe.it's not about the length, length is fine, it's the front of the shoe that is really snug. I wear a 10 in all my shoes, I went 9,5 in Hyperdunk and the length is fine.
After switching the insoles they are great now.

I tried a half size down and the midfoot was too tight. At the normal size I get in Nike, there is extra toe room but Its not something that bothers me because every other part wraps around my foot. I also like extra toe room because I tend to jam my toes when I'm playing.

My gym is closed till the end of the month so I won't be able to ball in them for the time being.

I also got a chance to see the regular Hyperdunk in person. The toe cap feels like similar to the Jordan XXX. Did anyone else notice that?

Just tried on the mesh version of this shoe.  I am normally a 10 or 10.5 in most Nikes and Jordans.   I would suggest a half size down or maybe even 1 size.  I have a somewhat wide foot and half size down didn't bother me with the few minutes I had them on.  The zoom felt pretty good as well.  Not as bouncy as the KD9 but much better than last year's.

Man. these kicks are so difficult to put on!

Try putting on a pair of the new KD, worse, lol...

These aren't so bad I think...

Anyone lick up the OG hyperdunk united we rise cw today? I'm kinda surprised their sitting

^ i scooped up a pair of the UWR OG's but if they don't have lunar in the forefoot (which i'm assuming since product details have no mention of forefoot anything), they're going right back.

Yeah I'm also surprised these have the CB shank when the other two retros don't have them. When I get mine I'll compare them to my of 08 hyperdunkni still have

Really? I tried to try a pair on in the store, couldn't actually put them on! I tried half a size bigger as well.. maybe it was me.

I'll try again.

Picked up a pair of the olymplic flynit/elites. Went TTS. Definitely toe room - length and width. Should have gone down 1/2 size. Played in them for 2 hrs today. Cushioning is very bouncy and responsive while also feeling stable. This is way better than the KD9s (mushy and unstable). Lacing is annoying to get tight initially. The laces snag on the upper, so it's a pain to snug up. Foot was pretty uncomfortable when I tried to really snug up the shoe - feet going numb and lots of lace pressure (the "tongue" is fairly thin and not really padded). Loosened up the shoe which helped with lace pressure but the shoe felt less supportive. I need to keep playing with how I lace them to see if I can find the right balance between support and comfort. I hope this gets better over time or these are going back. Transition was very good. Traction was great. Ankle sock is snug, but stretchy. Adds a little bit of compression while playing without feeling restrictive. Easier shoe to get on than the KD9s - even with the sock booty.
