Nike HyperAdapt: 1.0 and Adapt BB

I have a pair of Adapt BB 1.0 that won’t stay connected. The app won’t find the shoe until I press a button on the shoes, then it’s found and works for a few minutes.

Then nothing. Shoes have been reset probably 10 times and paired.

Also once connected, it’ll tighten and loosen. But after a while when trying to adjust the shoe will just chirp. A quick sound but nothing is tightened.

Even pressing and holding the button just one quick chirp.

Has anyone had this issue?

Happened to meet after buying the Adapt Mags 2.0 after not wearing them for a few weeks. One shoe would not connect and the motor stopped working. When it did connect, it was only for a few seconds then it would disconnect from the app. I have android btw. Returned it back since luckily it happened within the Nike 60 day return policy. I bought another one right after and it has been working fine ever since if I wear them at least once a week. The only problem I have now is I am unable to update the firmware.

it's a pain in the butt, but it's still possible to update...Keep both shoes on the pad. At 99%, lift each shoe off the pad, then put it back. It'll go thru

Thanks for the reply.

The right show’s good to go, it’s the left show that disconnects. Once it connects it’s good for a few minutes, then nothing.

kungfu koala kungfu koala I tried the update up thru 99% and as soon as it hit it, it went to unable to update. Didn't even give me a chance to lift the shoes up off the charging pad. I even tried updating it off the pad. It's ok. I should be happy they still work.

good show bro. I'd almost guarantee it works..
After many frustrating trials, it synced perfectly when I intermittently lift, place each shoe on/off the mat. I time that at the 99% update mark, and it updated to 100%.
Hope it makes sense!

does nike still do vouchers?

i have the adapt 1.0 and worn 3x and it hates pairing and glitchy as hell. i wonder if thats enough to send em back, or if its been too long lol

I'm sure they'll take them back if you reach out. Since it's been a while, they may give you a voucher in lieu of a refund.

This whole Adapt thing sure seems to have died quickly in terms of interest and Nike’s pushing of the tech.
I’m in the final stages of moving this weekend and had to pull these out of the vault. Haven’t worn or charged them in probably nearly two years. Threw ‘em on the pad expecting them to be dead but they charged up and seem to be working just fine 🤷‍♂️
I like how Nike finally at some point added options on the app to keep the light effects on. Only weird thing on my pair after wearing for an hour with the pulsing lights on is the app says the left shoe is somehow still at 100 percent but the right at 89 percent. That said, I remember that the displayed battery depletion was always one more than the other since brand new. Never understood that. Makes me wonder of it’s a glitch in the app and not the actual shoes. How can one still be at 100 after an hour or so when the other is down 10 percent or more? Anyway, happy to discover they still work LOL

Just too expensive, too much work, and not the best looking.

Was a cool idea.

rainking rainking 100% its the app....
its trash...
Yeah kinda figured it was the app being inaccurate.
I have the first BBs in the launch colorway and I think that shoe looks good. The BB2 not so much, or the running versions. Not worth what they cost but still fun to play around with LOL

I can’t even remember the last time i wore or hoopedin my OG BB’s…

These were cool at first but now they just are meh.

Hopefully they re-vamp it later down the line
