Nike HyperAdapt: 1.0 and Adapt BB

Yeah sorta like a thinner KBIX or KBXI insert.

Ah, really good to know then! I'll plan on giving a "brief" (might not be brief at all) review of the performance side of things when it comes to the shoes. Not quite sure about doing it for basketball as I suck and can only catch and shoot, but the running and training stuff should be fine!

So will it be version 2.0 or 3.0 that will be controllable from your phone? Definitely doesn't seem like it'd be much of a stretch to have it bluetooth enabled.

Already done but if it doesnt have some sorta of Apple assistance Id be surprised.

Oooh, I remember hearing about this, actually! Gonna be honest, it's actually nice to see Puma be a competitor (for this category, at least). Puma's a notable brand and for them to find their way into making these and not take the patent that Nike has for the auto-lace method, both companies can succeed very well and push boundaries by going against each other in this category yet make significant progress in a parallel way that can potentially reshape the future.

We're not here for anecdotal solutions that you've mentioned, but you knock yourself out with them.

Glad to see people like you still complain about proposed solutions but suggest none of their own. Clearly you have nothing else to add to this topic so I'm sorry-I shouldn't have brought it up with you.

I would be concerned about paring issues unless you could have the system on the shoes work interoperably from Bluetooth as well. Unlike speakers/headphones, you would need that system to be able to do both.

Obviously people like you that resort to guns and prisons don't have the answer either, so yeah  you shouldn't have brought it up.  No, I'm not adding anything else to to this "topic" in the hyperadapt forum, and you shouldn't either, but that's not to say I don't have any suggestions.  The way you equate the two is quite another reason why discussing things like this with people like you is pointless.

Lmao yet you felt obliged to respond to a "pointless discussion" with criticism but no actual substance?

Yeah I guess "people like me" who actually care about hearing people's opinions and proposed solutions, even if I disagree with them, are the ones at fault.

Definitely the next step. If you research recent Nike patents they have a few concerning controlling the shoes fit through a mobile app on a phone. And like NYC757 said, it will be involved with Apple products. Wouldn't be surprised if it's implemented on the Nike+ iWatch

I was with your friend - looks like we have a mutual friend, I guess. Was meeting up with him and another friend who came from Philly to pick up his pair then have lunch.

Sadly, no frags for me.

but Solebox UB's tho :nthat:

lol i got to my appointment at 2:30.

there were two kids i dunno if it was you guys.

one he frags and the other had those neon high prestos (i forgot the name) but the two dudes looked like they did the appointment together.

i picked up my silver pair to go along with the black pair appointment i had earlier this month. to be honest the first appointment was a cooler experience. maybe. because i did it already i dunno but even the employees were more geeked the first time. maybe by now they're over it

it's honestly a tough call as to which i like better. getting the black ones was so cool it was the first time i did something like that with sneakers and it was also a saturday so there was a ton of people in the store watching you taking pics. so there's so sentimental vibe with the black pair for me.

but i almost wanna say that the silver looks cleaner on foot. here's a pic from the snap i made them take lol. i didn't take any videos the first time and kinda regretted it.

lol nah I was there at 12:30.. well that was my appointment but they let me in at 12:10 since there was no one else there. The employees were definitely trying to hype everything up, from me scoring a reservation to trying to pump me up on unboxing and first time putting in the shoe

"damn man you one lucky dude to be given a chance to reserve this private once in a lifetime experience"

"You ready to open this, I'ma let you take some pictures of the box first, or you want me to record you opening the box?"

"you're making history by stepping into the future"

Went in for my appointment, and man, it was so exciting! They check you in, you take a seat, and they ask you what you know about the shoe, and then they talk about the details of the shoe and how long it was in the works, etc. It's the same process that everyone went through. Tried on the shoes as the guy volunteered to help record the process, and the product experience of it is amazing. Because I went there early, they let me take pictures, and so on. Feels odd when there are other people outside the roped area staring at you though... other than that, efficient check-out process and yeah, I just walked back to my work. Then people in the office called me crazy... **** fk it, crazy I am.

Here's the picture with them on feet. What a way to end the year!
