Cliff notes:

17 year old boy robs Florida woman's house

Woman shoots and kills boy after an altercation

Boy's family is mad and said “You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood,” said Harris. “You have to understand… how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.”

What does NT think of this logic? It's sad he chose that life and lost his life doing this. But if you break into my house, I'm shooting. Everyone is strapped up these days, I'm not going to find out the hard way if you had a gun or not. And I'm not going to say "Oh you're from the hood, please, help yourself to my hard earned belongings so you can buy a hoverboard and faragamo belt"

This has been a topic of hot debate in the fools wildin thread for a few days now

You play with fire, you get burned. I lost one of my best friends cause some scum like him broke into his house and shot him. He got exactly what he deserved

Anyone breaks in and tries to rob me is potentially getting smoked unless they can run in a zig zag like usaine bolt and I'm drunk or something.

Wow talk about no sense of accountability.

How about they look at it from the woman's perspective if that's what they want to preach. Kid had to know the possible consequences of breaking into someone else's home while they're there

The woman was not home, she was somehow notified by her alarm system that someone was breaking in, police had already been called. She rushed home and shot him as he was climbing out of a window.

We're a no duty to retreat state so she may have been well within her right. Either way that's on him. Stupid mistakes sometimes come with heavy consequences no matter our age

The logic of the family is incredibly dumb. Like wow, they just admitting there's terrible parenting or no authority figures in the home.

As far as the shooter, that's America. They got these guns and are eager to use them. This time around they're shooting in a pretty justified situation.

I hope I never have to use one, but if necessary, I will. It's survival.

If the guy is running away, then I'd just let em go.

So OPEE just gonna leave out the fact that the home owner was not at home at the time of the break in?

That she was notified via security system.

That she drove home to shoot the suspect AFTER the police had been notified.

MURDER!

Are ya'll really that sick that you just waiting to kill someone?

Don;t let the ignorance of his family members overshadow what really went down.

Stand your ground is different. If she gets charged I think this case may set a precedent. I don't see how she gets charged though. If wifey & my kid are in the house & I see lil buddy b&e'ing im putting a hot one in him without hesitation. Under certain circumstances I don't see her action being unreasonable

Facts. I don't blame the woman at all.

Would have more than likely done the same thing in the same situation.

You're coming for all my hard work... You think imma just let you run off with what's mine cause the police are on the way?

No. Would've left dudes carcass smoking like a brisket.

I read the other post saying that. Like I said they eager to shoot

It says a lot though that her security notified her of a break-in as well as the cops but she managed to get home shoot dude as he is climbing out the window before the cops even show up.

A lot of he said she said stuff on this story. If she was out, cops were called, and she came home and shot him out of anger, that's OD now matter how much I dislike theives.

That said, if he broke in and she was there, he deserved it.

Of course, all of this could be prevented if people didn't break into homes in the first place. And, obviously, if people didn't crap out unwanted kids who resort to fending for themselves in such a manner.

Why do y'all always do this? [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

"If my girl was breastfeeding my twins and 20 goons kick in my door tryna spray up the joint I would of killed em too. You gotta protect your family."

What NT wants to see vs. what actually happened lol.
