RIP Phife

Wiped me out when I saw that this morning. I hope he and Tip were on good terms. Or at least better terms than the documentary.

I want to say they were last together at the Hip Hop Honors? Wasn't like they were gonna have a reunion tour or anything.
 
Sad we'll never get another Tribe show, like Run DMC, NWA, Gangstaar, UGK

They(Ali, Jarobi and Phife) were just doing radio rounds a few months ago

He hadn't been doing well for a long time and had the kidney transplant a while ago. He seemingly had been doing better or as best as can be in the past couple of years.

That makes me think of how Dre went to see Eazy before he died. I hope Q-Tip had that moment.

Blasted tribe omw home from work just now in the car. Got tribe tatted on my arm, sad day. Glad I got to see them live.
 
I was worried about him after the ATCQ documentary. Happy he lived so long after that but terrible to see him go. Legend.

Yooooo I JUST found out he was the son of a family friend in my old Street in Trinidad...

She was like hey son, a guy passed away who was the son of a close family friend. He was a rapper.... I was like wait.... Then she said his name was Malik...

That caught me off guard

RIP......was real down when i read the news. was talking to a co worker yesterday about his diabetes and addiction to sugar... :frown:
