UNDER ARMOUR CURRY 3

I believe if the Curry 3s was priced at 119.00 the sales would be higher. The reason why the Curry 2s was a hit was because they were 129.99 while the lebrons/kobes were $200. Nike adjusted and released KDs and the new kobes for $150-160. With the Curry 3s being 140 it is only a 10-20 dollar difference from Nike instead of the 50-60 dollar difference.

If UA would have followed suite and lowered their prices to 110-124 they would be flying off shelves

And adidas has hurt them - their great performers, priced in the same window, and Boost being hot, hits the same non-Nike window as Curry.

Lol "boost is life" as they say. Personally, I wasn't blown away by any of Adidas stuff other than Hardens. Since I'm not a Harden fan and not blown away by anything other than the color blocking its not a shoe I will rush out to buy. I do like the look of the Curry 3s and they are always comfy for me.

Truth on the adidas comments, you can get a pair of CLB 16 for around $90 and they retailed for only 110.

I think adidas is going to have trouble with the harden 1 sales. Why buy them for 140 when the CLB have continental sole and full length boost for way cheaper?

Man, I mess with Steph so hard.

He's a GREAT player and so down to earth. I've met so many players, and most wanna be in and out. Steph, Ayesha, Seth, etc. all class acts. You trying to meet Kobe, CWebb, LeBron, Tom Brady? Nah. They ignore you then they're out. Steph and his bro are so humble and so grateful, he understands the bigger picture.

Steph carried the team a couple times, wait until he catches fire again, hopefully the fans will be back. If not, the real ones got love for Steph

I wouldn't say I'm a HUGE fan of any team or any player, but I feel like Steph would be cool to meet. He seems cool and I like how shoes.

Yeah, I saw a thing on Instagram where he went and met the 7 year old with cancer and people were trash talking him calling him a loser and to "take this L" and calling the kid a bandwagoner. Its like Dude he's 7 with cancer....have you no standards?

I'm excited for Luxs as always .......and I can't wait to see the regular model I instantly fall in love with....

And that's one reason I see his sales staying ok, maybe not Curry 2 heights, but decent. He is relatable, humble, a little corky while playing, but not too "big" to greet fans.

Biggest a-hole I have met is Westbrook, and for that reason I will NOT ever buy a shoe he promotes. I'll wear them if sent, but not my money.

Agree with many of the sentiments shared here. Under Armour peaked really high with the attention and accolades that followed Steph. Unfortunately, the combination of many variables make this news not entirely surprising: oversaturation of Curry 2's, the flop with Curry 2.5's, the historic fall of Golden State and rise of Cleveland sports, the addition of KD, and the fact that Steph has primarily worn a PE and hasn't been playing in the Heritage or Home's.

The hype was real with the Curry's, and much like you all, I'll continue grabbing the new Curry's, hopefully at a discount. Just sad to see how short-lived the Curry & UA peak sustained.

Hype will come and go. Curry shoes will continue to sell. He's still putting up all star numbers but Durant has taken some of Curry's spotlight (and all of Klay's, lol).

I never understood the point of PE's...a player wearing the actual model you can buy has a huge impact on sales. It's been great that Curry has worn almost every Curry 1 and Curry 2 at some point. It would be a shame if UA has Curry wearing mostly PE's a la Kobe/Lebron. (Not even sure who makes the final call on when to wear what colorway, but wearing PE's defeats the whole purpose of a signature shoe)

curry image took a hit with consumers after those dad shoes n that finals performance lol he messing UA money up

Let's wait until Christmas and All Star when the season really heats up. Warriors start rolling and I could see Curry 3 getting a little heat. And I don't think UA can be mad at Steph- they could always go.back to Kemba and Brandon Jennings if SC doesn't work out.

The aqua camo's are next on the radar. Wouldn't mind getting the curry 3 lux. UA did kinda ruin it with releasing so many 2.5s during the summer. Then followed by some ugly curry lux. That they got me on. Only 600 pairs smh.

Consumers also starting to catch onto the fact that Nike/Adibok/UA all overcharging for some basic/minimalist shoes.

I think everyone are really just waiting for discounts. Its too mass produced as if its a team shoe now. Here in the Philippines, its way overpriced at 8995 (180 usd). Its even available on generic sports shops here unlike the 1s and 2s where only brand houses and Titan (specialty shop) sell them.

For me it's the way he's playing right now and how he showed up in game 7 of the finals and last year's finals. He can't take a back seat to KD now IMO. His game is flawless, I think he goes soft inside because he is afraid of getting injured. I think once he secures a longer contract we will see his inside game a little more. It would hurt me pretty bad if Steph left GSW for a bigger contract, that would make me hate KD lol.

I still love him though, he's my fav. player on the team. KD never brought a ring to the team, but he's good, so we'll see.

Still early in the season and I'm still copping my Curry's easily now, no complaints. Really need those black/red human tourches though! Hopefully that colorway doesn't become a "lux" edition

well, at least the price in the PH doesnt increase basing from the previous releases...
curry 1      - cant remember the price..im thinking it was also 8k+
curry 2      - 8995
curry 2.5   - 8795
curry 3      - 8995

the shoe doesnt really appeal to a lot of people....
but we know that a lot of people at PH are buying their shoes with the basis of hype...
(this can also be applied to other countries, but as I noticed, fans at PH are more affected by hype than others)...

and what makes it look a lot worse, is that, they produced a lot in this model, unlike the 1s and 2s that generic sports shops cant get their hands of them because of the stocks being few.. (Titan also find it hard to get some stocks on the Curry 1s)

Let's all just be extremely happy that the market is soft for these 3s. Even though you would think "3"s would become Curry's trademark.

Idk, I think if the curry 3s were $40 cheaper at $100 and even less than all of the competition, it'd still have a lot of trouble selling. It's just not an attractive looking shoe. They did a great job with the 1s, a good job with the 2s, and a really poor job with the 3s. When these hit sales racks they'll drop lower than $100.

I coach a youth clinic of about 50 kids in NYC (13 and under), and every kid in it (for better and for worse) wants to be steph curry. Maybe 40% of the sneakers there are all curry 2s or 2.5s. It actually surprised me that every time a kid got a new pair of shoes last yr and wanted to show them off, they were always Currys (or sometimes Kyrie 2s). The 3s have only been out a few months, but I noticed that even without a new lebron or kyrie sig from Nike this year, and with a bunch of the kids getting new shoes for the season, I've only seen one kid w the curry 3s. I asked some of them about it and they all think they're ugly.

Sometimes a bad product won't sell no matter whose name u put on it. Look at last year's Lebrons (XIII). I was really disappointed when pics of these surfaced bc I was hoping to get something different to try out and I really liked how the 1s looked. I don't think lows are going to save this shoe either

can you see the teal colorway going any lower? I'm liking those the best so far.

No surprise but all 3s are not excluded from discount on FTL/Eastbay/Champs. Curry 2 took forever to lift the exclusion.

The discount gonna be good. Hope to see a good discount for the Grey Matter during BF/Cyber Monday
