I think I could get down in Stamford. How far a drive is that to the city?

40 mins from NYC, you can even hope on the Metro get direct shoot to grand central

my fave city in Connecticut, other parts are not diverse enough or a lil rough like Bridgeport CT

You can live comfortably in Stamford making 80K a year. Just have a budget and stick to it. If you don't feel like shelling out $1300+ for a small but decent one bedroom apartment, get a roommate. This shouldn't be difficult task, though, as the city is full of young professionals. I'll actually be there this weekend for some fun.

AZ >> CT , why the hell would anyone purposely move to CT?

This is where I was born and raised.

AZ is way too hot and dry. I'll pass thanks for your help. [emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127997[/emoji]

gonna plan on The Verano or The Moderne in Stamford....................wil have a roomie because its too expensive alone.

its a woman.........we aren't a couple

bad idea?

Living in Stamford now. Easy to get to NYC (50 min train ride). Lotta young people and decent prices for apartments. 80k is more than enough to live in a good size apartment downtown here.

Stamford is a cool little city.

The commute is def not bad to the city, my mom used to commute from Middlebury and Stamford is way closer so you'll be fine with the commute.

I'm not sure what the real estate prices in Stamford are but maybe consider purchasing a 2 or 3 family house and living there and renting out the other units? If you're paying 1200+ for a small apt it might not be much more to get a property and the money you'd make off rent will help.

If you don't mind me asking where in ct are you located now?

i forgot about this thread

she found a place btw..........i think its $1275 a month.......wasnt listed on websites etc, she had a Realtor its actually legit and a good area

if i end up going out there its gonna, one of the newer luxury apartments

i live in the middle of 860.......that should be enough of a hint

Only one reason I would live in stanford

Free tickets to Maury/Springer/Wilkos show

But I live in New York, on Cresant st near the J train

I pay $500 a month for a basement APT all utilities included.

Has a bedroom, kitchen, bathoom and a small living room

Perfect for me.
