Why Is Your State Great or Not Great

ya i was surprised when i went to cali and they served alcohol until 2 am... here in nj it stops at 10 pm but the bars are still good

Truth. Why is your damn highway limit 55 and people still doing 50. I can spot an Oregon driver from miles away, usually crusing at 50 on the far left lane (im from seattle, best city in the pnw :))

Seattle is a nice city. I was stationed at Ft. Lewis for 3 years and spent loads of time up there.

I lived in South Carolina and can vouche for the no Liquor sales on Sunday, it is the same way here in Texas,  when I was stationed in Florida you can buy 7 days a week to include holidays. Cali blew my mind when I seen that they sold it everywhere, to include Wal-Mart. Awesome. But I'm in the military so I can buy anyday of the week because we have our own package store.

wait you can go to a bar and get liquor tho right?
 
nah the bars close at 2am and some places 3... im talking about the actual liquor store in NJ stops selling hard liquor at 10... you can get beer at some places and if you go to the hood they have a few spots to cop liquor after 10 but rare to find

Got ya,I thought 10 for bars would be crazy lots of people don't even go out until after 10.Liquor laws in KY are decent except still have a lot of dry counties with no alcohol at all :smh:

-Food (had Vietnamese for Lunch. Having some Belizean food for dinner :smokin )

-Cost of Living
-Gangs
-Homeless people
 
From NY, live in AZ...


NY = great.


NYC is the greatest city in human history.
Lots of diversity, as a result there's so many bad ******* and amazing food.
Upstate NY is pretty scenic. Mountains and ****, yeah.....
Beaches.
All four seasons.
Shopping is second to none.
Sports teams are the best in America (Mets and Giants :smokin.)
Best museums.
Great art galleries.
Great architecture.

So on and so forth. NY state is the center of the multiverse.


AZ = not great.

Bad drivers.
Snow birds.
Hot AF.
Scorpions b, scorpions.
The food sucks, other than Mexican food which pales in comparison to the Mexican food in Cali.
The sports teams out here are hot garbage.
ASU is a good school but is home to a lot of racist *** kids.

On the bright side the chicks here are pretty cute. Transplants make this state livable. If it wasn't for 'em I would probably starve to death (all the spots I eat at for the most part are owned by folks who came here from elsewhere). Also far more affordable than NY.

Phoenix got way more decent food spots now than 10 years ago. Also, there are bad females in Phoenix/Scottsdale. You doing it wrong my G.

Maryland/DC Suburbs

Pros:
Great schools
Culturally diverse due to the proximity to DC
Lots of places to visit/things to do (i.e touristy things)
Pretty good, if not great, job market

Cons:
Terrible traffic
Metro
High cost of living
 
I'm staying out in Nevada right now, besides the low cost of living there isn't much I like outchea

Every night you can catch me looking out the window, yearning for the day I can move back to the DMV like:
