Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro "Storm Blue" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

I think they will sit but they ain't falling under 100. The UNC's never went that low and these are essentially the same shoe but different shade of blue.
 
They dont have to be 100 or less for me to buy them.. for 100 i wouldnt think twice.. the only issue is the wait lol. Get nervous they might dry up.. they look well worth the retail imo.. from the pics the quality looks like the black toe. But I can only hope to cop them for less then retail..love the color blocking. Anyone have info on the black/white og 1s and if they are gonna e released 2017?

Yeah the carolina blue is off....it should reconcile now that Nike is sponsoring the whole array of sports at UNC. In part the belief is the shade is off because the uni has been inconsistent with the shade in an effort to keep up with the technological times -- in theory the blue is the shade of the 'carolina sky'. lol.

Not sure why everyone is claiming the UNC retro is very far off from the OG.

I would go as far to say that these are one of the best remastered OG 1 releases to date.

The color is pretty damn close to the original and the leather quality is fantastic.

The color is DARK powder blue.

UNC has varied the hues of blue used in their uniforms throughout the years.

The OG 1985 Jordan goes nicely with the 70-80s era UNC gear.

I think some of you may have become conditioned to Nike releasing "University Blue" colorways.

University blue is less saturated and vibrant and leans more towards a baby blue appearance.  

This blue is more commonly associated with the UNC teams from the 90s into the 2000s.

University blue was also featured on the UNC 1 mids from 2013 and the patent UNC 1s from 2003.

(Both of which I think are atrocious).

Dark powder blue and university blue are two very different colors when you compare them side by side.

I'm partial to the dark powder blue, but I'm sure both colorways have their fans.
 
It's about people wanting to act like they know and providing terrible information. Then they add a verbose explanation that makes no sense. I couldn't help but laugh when I read that the color was off because of technology.

Lol really? I was pretty young when he retired from the Bulls. Now that you mention it, I don't really remember too many bad style jokes from back in those days.

No, the problem is he hasn't changed. He still dresses like it's the 90s.

I agree 100%. I don't remember any grade school release being cut this thick not even black and whites. The tongue padding is similar to the 2015 chi. And the toe box is similar to blank and whites from 14. Shade of blue looks good in person. Look how it compares to 13 royals.
