Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro "Storm Blue" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

Shoutout to Marioishot...
Was on the fence about these since RD, decided to pass at the time hoping to catch them at a discount..
Cant pass up 112$ Shipped from City Blue, got my pair in on Thursday. :pimp:

Frags are highly overrated because of there quantity.Ive seen them twice. And i wasnt impressed like i thought i would.I remember seeing all of the post on here about the quality.I was more impressed with the 1st Sbb/2016 Breds.Dont get me started on the resell prices that some are willing to pay.My expectations where high with the hype/resell before seeing them.I think people hyped them up online in order to justify the money they spent on resell on a 1 inside there head.Yall have to remember im not ballin like 90% of this board.Ive been lucky to get 1 or 2 pairs of what i want at retail.I wouldnt pay 3-4 hundo resell on the usual suspected 1 cw if i miss.People have to remember these are just 1,s.Not name brand designer gators, loafers, hard bottoms.

Since everybody is talking about toeboxes and leather quality, might aswell award a active/lucky NT member with a
15% off anything on Nike.com (excludes technology).
Single use only.

I'm sure mentioned already, but not too surprised these sold well.

Inventory went fast. Thought they would sit like the metallic navy and I can snag a pair for cheap down the road.

Hope I still can soon. Well, at leash at a foot action where I have $20 off gold star club coupon to use.

Ruined a classic to make it look like poor man's hype. Well done though.

I always use two applications of a good quality "leather conditioner" on the toebox area before I ever wear them for the first time.

I think it helps soften up a leather a bit making them more pliable. This is just my theory.
Perhaps I'll do an experiment and condition the left toebox only.
After one or two wears I see if it makes any difference with the creasing.

Of course, over time the creases give the shoe some character.
Which conditioner do you use?

Which conditioner do you use?

I use Lexol Leather Conditioner.

You can get it at Walmart or Target. Also Auto part stores.

This product is recommended by Rolls Royce & Audi for their leather seats.
It's great because it leaves no film and absorbs totally into the leather.

These and the JB classics

When both were first posted a lot of people didn't really like either.

When they became limited that's when people liked them and all of a sudden they became grails.

My storm blues have very good quality . Soft as hell. Got em from city blue. Was pretty amazed actually

Can we get a pic after you've worn them a couple times? Just want to compare with my pair

The toe rippling is usually due to not filling up the toe box enough with your foot. Some leathers are thicker and less prone to it. To reiterate it is not a problem. Just diff. Type of leather.

I don't mind it, I like creasing rippling in all my shoes bc I wear them and expect it.
