Do you think you could live on $20 a day for 365 days?

Can you make it for one full year?

interesting concept, it would almost ensure you give up all material items and eat on a tight budget

do you think you could do it? I am moving in about a year and want to build as much savings as possible, I am going to attempt for the next year and see how it goes.

EDIT: rent/bills/gas are not included, that would be impossible

If youre cooking your own meals yeah. U would just have to give up luxory vices, but this all depends on the person themselves. If you're disciplined enough to sacrifice alot to give up a lot of outings then yeah you'll be fine

I could never do it long term but with a short term goal in mind, I think I can do it

gonna start a spreadsheet to track it, if I sell some kicks or something I will allow that to give me a little extra spending money for that day/week

Can I make it a full year? Hell no  but I've read crazier articles out there of people pulling off a feat like this. The discipline is real, and I'm a big saver. But I know I would grow tired of it.

depends on how you frame the question

could I resist spending more than 20 dollars a day for a year with what I currently have? no

could I survive if I was forced to only spend 20 dollars a day for a year? yes

is it average 20 per day or if we spend like 10 dollars in a day we still can only spend 20 the next day?

At 19 I was living off less [emoji]128514[/emoji]. Me and the homie used to cash in bottles to split a 3 pc chicken and fries combo

I love off $110 a week ($50 groceries,$50 spending,$10 gas) no problems. Occasionally I'll go over but it's pretty easy. Biggest wallet killer is eating out. I try to limit myself to only eating out 2-3 meals on the week.

Chicken and i became real close wen i wuz strugglin.

Need more details in this scenario.

Do bills/gas count?

Does money rollover the next day if I dont use the full $20?

Originally I said gas but I am going to exclude that along with bills so essentially you need to eat off $20 a day and not buy any material items, eat out, etc.

If you can live without internet and Cable, got a low cell phone bill, and can keep your transportation cost down. Then Yes

I have pulled it off in the past, but not a year, a couple months at most. The thing was that I lived close to work or campus.
