Do you think you could live on $20 a day for 365 days?

Can you make it for one full year?

Hell no just for the simple fact that I couldn't put myself through that. Call me spoiled but once you get use to a certain level of luxuries and activities you have a very hard time living without them. Especially when you are voluntarily doing so with something like this.

Easy, wouldn't be healthy but I can eat out twice, get a pack of cigarettes and get drunk on 20$ a day...I usually only eat once a day so I probably have change too.Not that I would want to do this

Bruh $20 a day is easy. Its hard for people that eat out every day.

it's everything though

suppose you have an upset stomach and need pepto? that counts

need new toothpaste, deodorant, hair stuff, that all counts

No doubt there is some swole prisoners but a lot are just super lean so they look bigger then they are until you're next to them.

Anyways I can easily do it on the days I work. I eat for free at work. Outside of work I'll blow the budget on one meal or two. Plus I go out to eat for fun. I don't drink though so I save a lot there.

Outside of the groceries already at my house I'm trying to limit myself to $20 on lunch this week. $20 a day would be extremely easy

We spend $200/month on groceries and it's 4 people in my household so a total of $600/month I could eat like a CEO for a month

You not gonna eat healthy and stay full for the most part but if you can pace yourself the first few days and stack up some bread and go grocery shoppin' with the surplus you can make the rest of the time easy

How is that possible? I'm guessing you lived on campus and had some sort of meal card?

God I miss college.
Yup, fortunately I lived on campus all 4 years because I played baseball. I would let my friends use my meal card who didn't have food at their apartments. I never ate in the cafe, strictly dollar menu's, a lot of dry cereal, and I always kept some beer. My parents lost their jobs my freshman year of college, so I had to think of clever ways to make money. The girls in school helped me out a lot by inviting me to dinner if they cooked. Made a lot of weird sandwiches on my moms old George Forman grill. When you're broke you become very creative and use your imagination a lot.

if you sell every sneaker you buy doesn't count as part of the $20 since it's business. Now if you're keeping all that I agree

If I decide to buy something it means I gotta sell something of higher or equal value, that's how I counter any sneaker purchase but I don't many these days anyway

$20 is too easy.

I been eyeing this thread since my spending lately has been frivolous.

I can shoot for $10 a day, if not less. I eat free at work, then had a pepperoni slice, garlic knots & water for $5.

Since we're excluding bills and gas, there's no other expenses that make $20 that much of a challenge.
