Donor midsole for 2008 CDP Black Cement 3?

Diving in on my first full-on restoration project. Recently picked up a pair of 2008 CDP Black Cement 3's. Debating sole swapping or just re-gluing everything up.

What shoe can I use as a sole swap donor that will fit this shoe? Does it matter or do I need just need to find any pair of 3's of the same size?

Thanks!

PS - Is there some magic place to get midsoles cheap? Sourcing another pair of shoes and salvaging the midsole from them seems pricey.

Are they crumbling? If not, there's no reason for a sole swap, glue them thangs up and be on your way.

Yeah a swap isn't necessary on Jordan 3s after 2003. Reglue is theres separation. Repaint is there's chipping.

Do people usually fully strip the midsole of all the paint if repainting the same color due to chipping?
