Things to do in Denver

If I was single I'd be out there like a doggone regular. Kids holdin' me back smh

Hit downtown for some roof top day drinking in LoDo - Tavern, LoDo and Viewhouse all have patios right across the street from Coors Field. If the weather is nice those three places will be packed with people. If you are looking for cheap, bar food I would eat at Brothers Bar and Grill - located in the old Real World Denver house. Good food. Get the Gator Balls, trust me. Do not order from Tavern and LoDo - food is terrible. Viewhouse wants to make their food appear to be better then it really is. I don't think it is that great.

If you want to do clubs / bars later in the evening I would go to Larimer Beer Hall, Mile High Spirits or Gin Mill. You can also catch a live band next door at Herbs. Late night you can get hot dogs at Billys Gourmet or pizza at Ians. There is also a club in RiNO, called Cold Crush that spins great hip hop but there is a cover and a couple people have been shot outside of the club. There are some bars / clubs on the other side of town around 15th and Market, one of my favorites is The Drink but that area has been known to have trouble late night. Personally I haven't had any issues in that area but I won't go on that side of town anymore, just to be on the safe side.

Denver has a huge craft beer, brewery scene right now and most of those are located in LoDo or RiNo. Way to many of those to mention.

Get a Chile Rellano at a Mexican restaurant.  My personal favorite is La Loma (now across from the Brown Palace hotel).  

So good.  Green Chile itself is so good.  Easy breakfast one of the mornings, get a breakfast burrito from Santiago's. 
 
Yeeee going on long weekend to Denver in July :smokin

Thinking about going to Boulder for one of the days, is Uber feasible or would I have to get a rental car?

You could probably get an Uber to Boulder, its about a 30 minute drive from Denver. 

There are also buses that head up that way, but not sure if that is really vacation style.

Common misconception.  Unless you're comparing it with Arizona, Vegas, etc.  

Yes we get snow in the winter, but we get sunshine 300 days a year.  If it snows a foot tomorrow, it'll prob be gone before the end of the weekend. 

Today supposed to be 74, then 78, 78, 69, 72, 81, 79, 75, for the next 7 days.

Wow - you were there that night? Crazy. Use to go to that place all the time but that spot got hot. To many bangers rolling through their.

If you are planning on visiting this weekend the weather is going to be so, so. Rain starting tonight through maybe Saturday. But, yes the weather out here is amazing. Mild winters and usually summers.

Wild. Do y'all remember the spot that I wanna say was to close to aurora where some one got popped? YG had just performed I believe and that was my first experience coming back to CO and mind was blown.

Denver is hands down my fav place for night life that I've been in the world. Ladies are approachable and beautiful, wide assortment, diff clubs to hit, good vibes in general. Not sure if Chloe's is still popping but DUI Ty offered me a rack to smash one of the badder chicks I've had in my life when I was there.

Last time I was there (December '16) Epernays was the spot to be. Market Street and 15th which I think has been mentioned already has a good congregation of spots to check out. There's a hookah lounge on market down the street that's switched owners like 20 times that stays open til 5 am. If you're in to uppers that's a good spot to find people who like to "stay up"
It's hit or miss but the summer is usually pretty consistent.

If you're willing to go to the springs Tejon is a good spot to exercise the big fish little pond theory. youll see some crazy stuff in regards to the married woman who cheat on their deployed husbands.

I don't recall that place...I also don't ever go that far South for night clubs. I know there is a huge country bar in Aurora that everyone goes too.

Chloe is actually closed. That whole side of downtown 14th / 15th and Market / Larimer is dead. Been a couple shootings that I have taken place near The Drink and now only the hood goes down there. Most everyone else has migrated back to bars / clubs in LoDo or RiNO. Epernany is still good; use to go there a lot but they be acting funny, like its Drais in Vegas sometimes. I'm not with that - I know so many other bartenders across the city that I don't need to deal with that foolishness anymore.
 
Denver native here and  Epernany is kinda poop from all the times I went. it really comes down to the kind of music you like. We mostly have dj's who play top 40 hip hop otherwise the place gets shot up lol. Cold crush is dope tho

Dang. Thanks for the heads up. When I use to head out around 12-13 those were the spots to be.

Idk about jets but if you're in the area (littleton area) Virgilio's is dope.

Carls in north Denver is my go-to hole-in-the-wall spot.

Marcos is the best chain.

The club / bar scene has completely changed since I first moved out here as well. There is almost nothing on that side of 14th / 15th anymore. Mynt, which moved into the old Spill location gets cracking on a Wednesday. Thursday is ladies night at Cowboy Lounge and that place will be packed. Pregame at Brothers across the street and then walk over to CL. $5 cover for dudes. If CL isn't your scene (they play country and every 10th song or so they will play two Top 40 songs) you can try Gin Mill a block up.
 
Chicken strips or good. Fried chicken spot? I remember how good Carl's Jr. Hand breaded chicken strips was anything better ? Anywhere from Denver to Cheyenne wy
