Why isn't the '70s da golden era, though? Sure, Vietnam was still going early on, but think about it: pre-AIDS, the prime cocaine years (when EVERYONE was doing it), etc. Even disco sounded okay with all them drugs.

Yea i wuz a lil tipsy responding last nite to this but now that im clear headed i feel that

In terms of sports....sneakers......90s got it

Film....television. ....music.....fashion....whips......is highly debatable

Alot of great things in those categories came out respectively in a 10 yr time span.

I mean i guess what it boils down to is wen u grew up and what things you experienced.

This a hard question to answer cause those of us born.the eighties, think about how much the eighties influenced our lives passively but the 90s influenced directly.

Think about all the movies that qe watched as kids, whatever was on tv was 80s movies, reruns of 80s tv shows. Hell think about the radio while we grew up in the hip hop era, we all knew and heard was 80s classics. Both eras put a stamp on us

80's.

87 or so to 90 are probably my favorite years in Hip Hop too.

Eric B & Rakim, NWA, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, BDP, Kane, De La Soul, G Rap, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, LL.

A gang of dudes and music that still show up in all time great convos.

Born in 78
So I was a child in the 80's.
The toys and cartoons were on point.
Nintendo tho...
Lakers Showtime

Was already 12 yrs old when 1990 hit.
Enjoyed the 90s rap, shoes, etc.

Lived it all.
80s kid
90s teen
2000's adult

Perfect definition of a Generation X'er.

Music in the 80s might be my personal favorite era of of music.

People like Whitney, Madonna, New Edition, Brenda Russell. Soul Train. THAT Streets of Rage style of music (I know the game came out in the 90s).

Just a great era man.

Terminator 2 = 90's

The 80s had a great, unique sound

Cherrelles music embodies that early jimmy jam terry funk

I believe the Golden Era was a combination of both decades, 1986-1994.

Regarding sneakers tho

80s vs 90s is a no Brainer choice.

Its like having to choose between beyonce and hilary duff or sumthin
