2016 OFFICIAL YANKEES SEASON THREAD... THANK YOU A-ROD

Bryce ain't coming either. Sorry *** rotation and offense. Only thing we do well is pitch great in two innings if we have a lead

Y'all in here talking crazy

What good would firing one of the best managers in the league do? Not his fault we rely on 3 older players for offense.

I feel it should be on Hal.

We clearly were not a contender and we made 2 good moves. But nothing that changed the team weaknesses.

That's not on Cash if they keep him from spending.

Only so much you can do with traded without selling the entire farm.

Just made a bet with one of these die hard Mets fans that if the we dont end the year with a better record then i gotta wear a Mets fitted all winter ..........

WAKE THE **** UP ALREADY !!!!!

Yea anyone spitting out this nonsense that Girardi has to go knows nothing about baseball.

Hes all we got besides the bullpen lol.

It's foolish to want Cashman or Girardi fired. Yankees problem is they can't admit that they need to do a full on rebuild. Spoiled brats can't deal with the losing that's needed to organically build a contender like y'all did in the 90s. Cashman is doing his best to try and be competitive while not raising the budget and spending recklessly.

Game already over.

During Girardi is crazy. He's become a good manager over the years. Not his fault our pitching is *** and our bats went on one of the coldest streaks I've ever seen.

ALLLLEEEEXXXXXX OUR HERO, OUR MVP!!!!!

A ****** BOMB TOO!!!!!!

Things to do:
1. I'd move Castro to # 2 in the order, Gardner to # 7. Ellsbury & Gardner are too alike to have them hitting in the same part of the order. Also it allows Gardner to be table setter for bottom of the order, and have more freedom at bat, and on the bases. Also Gardner has always been better toward the bottom of the order, it seems to be more so of how pitchers pitch to him down there. See if that improves Ellsbury & Gardner.

What Cano would have done for Jacoby batting # 2 behind him :smh:

2. Look to trade Gardner for whatever you can get either at the deadline or in the offseason (I'm already holding the towel on this season). Austin Hicks becomes the LF for the time being. *Shrugs*

3. Time to move Headley as well. If you have to take a player who has 2 year / $18mil to move Headley's 2 year / $26mil for 17-18, then fine. Then come 2017 move the 2 year / $18mil deal for a 2 year / $12mil deal of a worse player, and keep trying to trade to smaller contracts one by one.

Martin Prado becomes his replacement in Free Agency.

4. Just have to ride out Beltran & Teixera. Judge & Bird replace them.

5. Hope Gary Sanchez is ready to come up to the bigs in 2017, and get a year as the backup. 2018 he becomes the man behind the plate, and McCann replaces A-Rod as DH.

6. Hope James Kaprielian continues to dominate, and breeze through the minors, and give a run at making back end of the rotation in 2017.

7. Re-sign Aroldis Chapman. Don't care what it takes. Pay him.

8. DO NOT BREAK UP Miller, Betances, Chapman.

9. Sign up Eovaldi long term, avoid his last year of arbitration, and then forcing to pay him more in Free Agency

The biggest problem I have is that there was the opportunity to makes this team better in Free Agency this past winter, and pay good players that would open up the ability to move other players, and we did absolutely nothing in Free Agency.
