He'll be fine but definitely needs a stint in the minors. Girardi and Cashman have no choice but to make this move after tonight's White Sox start. Sevy looks nothing like the standout pitcher from 2015, albeit in a limited 62+ IP.

I can't believe Tanaka hasn't had surgery. He's not the same guy. He's a 2 or 3 in your average rotation.

Sometimes you guys go absolutely overboard on him.
A weak 1? Sure. A really strong 2? Absolutely.
A 3 on an AVERAGE rotation? That is absolute nonsense.
The last 2 starts have been stinkers... So what. That happens. Even great pitchers have a handful of god awful games a year. The 6 before were extremely good.
