I have a feeling these are going to be hideous... The casual and performance market for basketball have to be seperated nowadays-new tech just doesn't mesh well with casual wear.
 
Actual reveal on tv is the 5th. So we'll see them on Jimmy Butlers feet then. I'm guessing full pics leak in the next week or two. Probably after the Quai XXX release. However, Today or any time this week would be great!

I'm curious as to how Jordan Brand is going to present the shoe? They've had a presentation the last 3 sigs and no word on an upcoming presentation as of yet.

Based on an earlier post, they are also scheduled to release on 8/5 in the "Rio" color way.
 
^Agreed. Honestly. Make MJ the focus of the campaign (along side other team Jordan members) and finally put him in the damn shoe again in a dope commercial. Shoe will sell, no matter how it looks.

^ I asked Howard White about that same thing, in general terms, and at this point MJ wants the athletes to be the faces of the brand. He wants to become what Phil was to Nike. That's part of their pitch when they meet with athletes. Which makes sense because most athletes don't want to be in another man's shadow. It may not sound logical, because it's still Michael Jordan. And with the new rule the NBA put on MJ, being an owner, he can't be commercializing with NBA athletes because he'll be accused of tampering. The brand at is $3.6Bil grossed this year with the current plan they're using. It's not going to change.

It's obvious that the Olympics provide great stage for free advertising and without Russ participating, Jimmy,next best thing so they don't miss the chance. Very odd that 2 listed CWs for Olympics and then 2 more listed for September drop?
 
Jeter just signed a new deal with JB as captain of Baseball, he will further his line and recruit baseball players. Expect JB to do the same with athletes in other branches of sport.
 
You do know every thread on this site have conversations inside conversations right? If you read a few posts up you'll see a question asked about the 'face of Jordan'.

^Thanks but I'm just a fan like you. I wish I could get more from the footwear side of the biz, he gives analytics which is great.
