The Official Jordan XXXI Thread

So what's the consensus? Is the 31 considered a flop? Me personally, I think these are definitely a flop from a casual-wearing perspective. Visually, I think they're decent. The best colorway to date imo is that suns looking c/w. i'd actually rock those. I don't own a pair of 31s and I don't see myself picking up a pair anytime soon for any reason.

These are a flop casually? How so?

These are one of the best casual appeal mainline Jordans in YEARS.

They are a performance shoe so not intended for casual but for ball. You want a casual shoe buy a retro. These are awesome.

I was really big on these at first, but I'm starting to lose interest. It turns me off that they couldn't use real leather on the back part. Jordan's used to be known for their "luxury" look and nice leather on their new signature shoes. Some of the colorways just look cheap. Also, they are dropping the ball with certain colorways too. That Black Toe 31 is a joke. As I stated before, they could've had a back red leather part going into white, then fading into a black toe. Those would be sharp. I just feel they are missing their mark with the lame ones up above. Like someone mentioned, they look almost like the N7's. Moves like that, just makes me keep passing. The only ones I bought are the USA's. Looks like I will keep passing until one blows me away...but I'm not holding my breath.

One more thing, they are using clear soles too much. :smh:

You just answered your own question and contradicted yourself at the same damn time. thanks for reiterating my original point that these have zero casual appeal and are strictly a performance shoe.
