Literally all the draw for me is Carolina branding. The shoe itself if pretty boring but for being a JB school for the better part of 20 years, we've gotten very few branded releases to enjoy

Which isn't necessarily awful.
But the swoosh looks almost nonexistent. Really resembles the Trainers posted earlier.

Agreed. Probably no solid outsole though, but I think lows will be great performers.

I kinda feel bad for GT to be honest. Their uniforms are Russel Athletic I think, because that's an Atlanta company. Thankfully Russell Athletic doesn't make shoes, so I believe the shoe deal is Nike.

The 31 is a great looking silhouette. The only thing I would change would be the cheap synthetic leather on the back. They should've given us nice premium leather. Other than that, better ideas on colorblocking. The people doing the colorblocking should be fired. A few nice releases but overall I'd give them a D. It's a hot shoe with bad colorways. And don't get me started on that ugly low and bringing the nice UNC color out in THOSE. Disgrace. [emoji]128078[/emoji]

^I agree. Very week releases compared to the samples I've seen. (1)They miserably failed the woven upper -same material we had on XX9 that produced radical prints- (2) They dropped the ball on the Lows by not allowing the swoosh to stand, which would have been cleaner, more casual friendly (ala AF1 lows) . Jumpman logo should have been on the tongue only.

I agree on both points. JB needs new blood in there with better ideas.
As far as the lows, that Jumpman placement is horrific. I don't know why they continue to try and make that look good. The branding should've been exactly as you said. Less is more, you dummies at JB. EPIC FAIL.

I agree with you on most of it. The color blocking is atrocious. If they're going to do the black toe or royal blue. Then keep the motto just do it! Either way, I will still cop only at a discounted price. Shoes are very comfortable and awesome on court. The only thing I have a problem with it performance wise is the traction. But then again, I'm an old old man. No need to be driving to the hole or breaking ankles.

The lows are certainly a little underwhelming but I still like them. I'd love for them to get discounted though, since I'm about to drop way too much money on all the PEs for Georgetown, Marquette, and Cal from a connect of mine and I can't do that and buy all of these all at once. Ugh.

Marquette got a third pair finally. They look like Conley's white pair except the soles are dark blue, whereas Conley's are light blue.

I wish they'd release a nice low that's not ties to a college team? And not that ugly red I saw before with the chrome. These have potential.
