they're nice but if the Space Jams didn't sellout until it went on a discount, I don't think the black cats will either unless it is some limited editions which doesn't it doesn't seem like

It's the first solid sole and there's a lot of hoopers that been waiting for that I think. Plus it's clean AF. U could call it plain though and hopefully a lot of dudes got a pair or two and are on to the next. That's what I'm hoping lol

I really think people who buys them that wears them casually vastly outnumbers those who actually play ball in them so I am not sure if the solid outsoles going to be a big factor in it selling out.

While about half of the owners complains about the clear sole having traction issues, the other half are completely happy with them too.

Plus most 31s are only selling out on NDC once it is discounted, Nike gives an extra discount code and ebates has a 10%+ rebates going on, and I mean once all of those 3 factors aligns not just when one or the other occurs

Correct me if I'm wrong. But is the black cat 31 traction pattern different from the ASG or any of the other 31? To me it looks different.

Outlets get returned inventory from Footlocker, Champs, Eastbay etc.
Nothing to worry about, good purchase.

I always thought that returns w/o a receipt or returns from other retailers would only get store credit for the lowest price they have in their system, which is usually super low. Like lower than stores sell em for, and they'll say they had a price in there that low somewhere along the road. So maybe it would only be a good idea if u bought a new release at a good price, then u might get full msrp store credit at the outlet/Nike store

I know the space jam when on sale on ndc, but not instore at niketown. I understand returns from other stores happening at an outlet, but at niketown is new to me.

So it does seem all good. So yay!

I think itll be unstable regardless. These were my banneds but you can see how the zoom unit protrudes. My pair was actually too wobbly and had the right pair leaning inwards

This has done so well on the PE circuit and the released pairs have been hits too..just a great release.. most excited about the successful cohabitation of flyweave and leather / leather-like materials. Opens the door to HOPEFULLY see leather back on sigs again.

While I do think the Black Cats will be around awhile, I'll be buying on release day.
I've been waiting for an all black colorway to release ever since this line was first introduced.
I'm so happy they decided to use a gray color on the jumpman and not a white.
Much more low key.


With that said, I think the money I set aside for Fine Prints will be used for a 2nd pair of Banned. I really like this colorway
and I've pretty much given up finding a sz 13 Fine Print for retail.

If we are to believe the official pics, then this pair you quoted from AJ is different than the release pair, specifically in those two areas you mentioned.

However, we all know that sometimes "official" pics are different.

However again, the stockroom pics we saw earlier seemed to line up with official pics and not the team pair from what I remember as far as the black. We never got the backroom stock pic of the sole.

I believe the dark heel clip is actually just something dark reflecting on the metallic silver.

Also the sole even looks to be more of a white tinted clear than our release version, though it could be lighting too
