Not sure if there's a thread on this topic. I didn't see one so here we go..

This isn't a thread for showing off your car. I'm pretty sure there's a thread for that already.

This thread is for people on budgets or just don't feel the need to buy or lease an expensive car.

Let's hear (or see your) favorite vehicles that can be found for less than $5k

That won't break on me tho?

My had her old car finessed. So she has a 2000 altima and it's been wild problems

I'll just be going to and from work which is like 30 mins

Go to a police auction and find something nice there. Take a mechanic or someone who has basic knowledge of cars to check it out before hand since you will not be able to take a test drive. Do not go to a used car dealer fam they will hit you in the booty with no lube. This is the realest advice you will get from NT. Unless the homie is selling you an M5 for the low then obviously go that route.

NA Miata.  Not the most practical, but definitely one of the most reliable/fun to drive cars in that price range:

I been thinking of copping a cheap Lil beater that's a 4 cylinder beginning of next year. I got 2 gas guzzlers and wouldn't mind having a shooter. Not 5k tho more like 1500.

TBH a well kept one will run fine for you

Or even go up to 03-07 if you can find one in your range. Make sure its still in running good, not leaking oil, got good tires, brakes, etc. And you're good

Thanks man!

This wasn't a thread/post for me personally. I have a Genesis and an Infiniti M35x. I just always see people asking what kind of cars can be afforded at a certain price. I thought having an actual thread would be pretty cool. That way people can see what could be had in their price range

Oh and shoutout to belly..

2001 Dodge Intrepid R/T (only mess w/ da 3.5 v6)

those are def hard to find imo

Yeah they only made da R/T trim for 2 yrs...they kept da engine over for da SXT but cheapened out da options..its HUGE inside.

A nice leather one wit w/ 80k-100k miles goes for 4k and under all day. I would only drive a black 1 though.

300m is da same type deal, those are more common thou.

I don't know too much about cars, but I bought a Crown Vic for $1000 that used to be a police car, and never had a single problem with it.

this or high mileage lexus gs300 , both cool cars and tanks reliability wise ....huge after market stuff that you can make the car to your style for both of those cars ....those lex though the leather usually rips on the front driver seat so you might have to fix it when you buy one 98-04 model
