The best vehicles under $5k thread

I cant believe cats are cosigning a Dodge Intrepid. the reason you cant find them is they were made with inferior materials and garbage engineering.

Would never touch a dodge from 20 years ago. ever. 10 is pushin it. id say thats about the first time they created something besides the viper and trucks since there hay day that was worthwhile in the Magnum, and even those are poop inside for the most part

All I said was it is hard to find. [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Under 5k Toyota ftw.

My 97 camry cost 2k and had close to 300k on the dash, it was a great car only reason i got rid of it was because the timing belt /water pump needed to be changed and they were trying to charge 900 and i felt that wasnt worth it.

Panther Ferd>Toyola>>>Hondurr @ 5k

The hivemind likes to side with Toyota, but if you want a dirt cheap, low maintenance, ruggedly durable car... Panther or bust.

Full frame, RWD, over-engineered and underpowered engine made to last not be fast, Oil and Transmission cooler if you get one with a Police or Tow package, spacious engine bay, extremely easy to work on yourself, dirt cheap parts and at 3-5k the ones you will find will have substantially lower mileage than comparable Camrys and Accords. You just can't beat it for the value. It's a damn truck in the form of a sedan.

my old toyota and lexus i sold when they were still drivable.............ill never clown Toyota or Lexus.....i might will get one again because i plan to lease and start an LLC, it'll be a beater.

my neighbor has an E class Benz, but uses his 1997 Toyota Avalon still with over 150k miles for bs errands or short trips all the time.

LS swap Geo Trackker just sounds like it would fly into the air and tumble a few times if you press the gas too hard.

Does anyone have tips on how I can find a cargo van for under $3.5k? I need a delivery vehicle for business and I'm having a hard time finding one even though I know they are everywhere
