Our lineup is solid top to bottom IMO. Bats off the bench might be iffy.

Starting pitching is the major concern for me. We really have nothing after Price. And even him, I'm not crazy about.

Relief pitching should be sufficient. Even though Kimbrel blew it today, he'll be fine. Our set up situation is great. And we've got some long guys that can come in here and there.

just need more consistency from our pitchers
Sonny Gray will be a Red Sox player before season's end, sooner than later. Almost certain Hazen makes that move to solidify the Boston rotation behind Price. A's likely ask for Espinoza, Kopech, or Johnson to start in the arms return.

I was always hyped watch Erod work last year. Dude is an imposing figure on the mound and we need some of that. Red Sox staff is extra frail

He's slated to go Tuesday vs. Oakland's Manaea and Sunday vs. 'Stros.

Wager on Wright to avoid the first 3-game sweep in the Bronx in four seasons. Sevy been shaky this year and close to being demoted for a spell in the minors.

i just caught that homer that Hanley hit last night. Jesus, dude. 470 foot...left center and over everything :x

Despite giving up 2 hits today, Carson Smith will be an extremely valuable asset for Boston moving forward. Has the tools to be one of the best non-closing relievers in baseball. Plus Red Sox got him dirt cheap compared to the king's ransom paid for Kimbrel.

Mike Hazen should move for Sonny Gray quickly. His value is the lowest it'll be. That's the major missing piece for an AL crown and WS run. Price/Gray/Porcello/E-Rod is a solid four in any playoff series.

Losing Carson Smith to TJ is a huge blow. Guess I jinxed him with the hype, and he came from Seattle so cheaply. Sox need a starter and reliever to make a serious October run. Beautiful thing to see though, Mookie, X, and JBJ flourishing. Youth movement in Boston, patience rewarded.

been awesome to see those guys flourish, man :pimp:

travis shaw has been a nice surprise too. and vazquez even showing some great leadership behind the plate. exciting to see this all come together this year.

large father, muddy chicken, and han-ram doing their thing as well. lot to be excited about.

if we can just add a LEGIT starter before the break and as Champ alluded to, a reliever, we'd really be in good shape to make a run

i was definitely super young but i remember him. he was great and all...but i didn't forgive him for going to NYY and winning a Chip there. call it being petty, but anywhere but NY

and then going as far as to try and rock a ******* Rays hat on his HOF plaque. thank god the HOF nixed that idea

You missed out b.

And they interviewed him tonight.
He said Mrs. Yawkey offered him a 7 year deal to stay in 91...she dies in early 92...and Red Sox management took the deal off the table.
Said he wanted to stay in Boston.
