One thing I noticed when I was in the Bronx visiting were the McDonald's having the soda machines behind the counter
I was with my cousins and I was like "yo where's the cups to refill?" They said "nah, it's not like that here" 
when I was living in the Bronx I didn't care to notice but now that I'm older, I saw the difference from McDonald's here in Tampa and the ones in NYC.

i think the bigger issue was because they came from the drive thru then inside to pull this off. If they wouldve ordered inside and pulled it then left i dont even think this would be talked about ...
