After chewing on it 5-10 with parole after 5 is cool.
If it was my daughter I think I'd be able to forgive the girls and ask the court to as well.
But 5-10 is cool with me.
I feel sorry for everyone involved though.

Give them time and then what? The same damn vicious cycle continues. Why do we look for instant gratification instead of trying to fix something long term. This type of punishment has gone on for years and years yet no positive result has come out of it.

I'd agree if it was a drug charge or something non violent. You can't have violent offenders out in pubic.

I think we should get all the facts first. While I don't believe there was malicious intent, I'd like to find out whats in those group messages where they decided to start the fight and then determine from there the mental state of these girls. Also if a weapon was used.

They didn't beat her to death though. An accident occurred.
So you ruin all of their lives over an occurrence that happens all over the country, every day? Fighting isn't unusual. Jumping isn't unusual. Someone can accidentally die every time a fight occurs.

Reaching saying fighting on the street isn't unusual. Not unusual to see on Worldstar but its hardly normal behavior. That thinking is part of the problem. Jumping is a crime. Its not ok. Death or no death. Yes people die in fights. Thats the risk you run and you treat this situation accordingly. A death in a group beating is not an accident. They wanted to inflict bodily harm. They completed the objective. No place for people with that mindset in public. Act like an animal. Get treated as one. R.I.P Amy.

If the victim was my child, hell yes. They took her life away so an eye for an eye justice needs to be done if they don't get locked up for a long time.

This hits home hard. It was one of my homies little sister. I didn't expect to see this posted on here but it has been getting national exposure. Rip Angel. This happened a few miles from where I work too. I won't get more into it, still fresh in the community and mourning.

Practicing a martial art for self defense doesn't give credence to jumping. We're in a gym with other people who WANT to practice.
