Whats the worst customer service youve ever experienced? VOL...STORIES

Went out for breakfast last week Sunday and the waitress legit forgot about us. For 75 minutes no one came over, not to refill water, not to update us on the order, nothing.

After 75 minutes, the person I was with went up to the manager and asked what was going on. The manager was shocked of course, and called the waitress over who gave the blankest look and said she lost our order or something, I.E forgot to put it in. It was to the point where I was tracking who came in after us, and a party of three, a party of five, and a party of two who came in after us got served before us and ate their food, paid, and left.

The manger who of course was upset about the whole thing gave us a food for free, and it came out relatively quickly. If I didn't care for the food I wouldn't come back, but I really did. I had a very delicious waffle.

But yeah bar none the worst food service I have ever had.

Last year went to Cheesecake Factory with my girl. It was Saturday night, busy as expected. We get seated, order our food expect it to be a while since they're slammed. Waiter comes by about 15 mins later, asks us if we want refills on our drinks, sure. Brings the drinks back and goes back to working other tables. Another 15 goes by, dude comes back and asks us what we ordered! 30 minutes later we finally get food, only to find out it's not our order. Dude doesn't apologize or anything, just takes the food back and wanders off. I ask someone at the bar to see a manager to finally get everything sorted out. Had to give us a new waiter and everything.

i waited like 20mins for some chicken nuggets at mcdonalds when i was in higschool

straight up baffled

Got a story about horrible employees at the Gucci store in Antwerp.

I was shopping with a female friend and I decided to check out the Gucci store.

She's kind of a hipster and based on her clothing, you certainly wouldn't expect she's rich.

As soon as we entered the store I could tell the employees were looking at her as if she didn't belong there.

We were looking around and one of the employees walked up to her and told her "you can't afford this so you should just leave" and then had the nerve to ask me if I needed any help, presumably because I was carrying some purchases from Diesel and Emporio Armani so I guess he assumed I could afford their stuff.

The disrespect

The irony is she has more money in her bank account than all of the employees make in a year combined.

Left and never went back. Clown *** employees.

I also recall some terrible customer service from my ISP some time ago.

I was playing Halo 3 on my xbox 360 at the highest level, which is infested with cheaters.

One person in particular kept shutting my internet down with DDoS attacks.

After I beat him he disabled my internet for over an hour. I called my isp customer service and asked them to change my IP address because I was being DDoS'd. The guy on the phone responded by asking me what a DDoS attack is...

Despite my explanation he didn't seem to understand any of it so I asked him to look at my data usage. A DDoS attack would result in a massive spike in incoming data. He confirms there is a massive stream of data being spammed at my IP address but then he tells me they don't change IP addresses because it's "a lot of work"

I ended up having my internet disabled for 3 hours or something.

Also got a story about my friend calling the tax service for help with his taxes.

He's a Belgian citizen and lives in Belgium but got a job in the Netherlands. He called the tax service for more information about his taxes now that he's working in another country and the tax service told him they don't know the regulations and couldn't help him

Terrible service. After 5-10 minutes, it's time to grab a waiter.

Did you tip though?

Best Buy sold my girl a defective Samsung tv that came with a stand you had to screw onto the base of the tv. So we screw in the stand, plug in the tv, see it doesn't work and return the tv. Because we were missing one screw, the chick behind the counter opened up the new tv we were buying to replace the defective one and took out one screw to replace the one we lost. She said she had to replace the screw or else we couldn't return the tv. I almost lost my ****. We had to unscrew the light switch case in her apartment and use a screw from there to fit into the base. ********.

Went to best buy, i had to search the employees to get some questions answered.

Dudes were eating pizza in the back.

Ain't even mad though, but that was bad customer service for sure

It's much rarer to receive good customer service nowadays. It seems like bad customer service is the status quo now.

Of course I did, I went out to eat. The tip was really for the manager and they do community tipping at this establishment (I always ask because I HATE community tipping), but I'm not going out to eat and not tipping. I am a grown man with a job, that is unacceptable.

That being said I only tipped 5$ because A. The service was horrendous, and B. Without a check, I had nothing to base it on.

Was it Palkia? Whenever I think cheating in H3, he's the first dude that comes to mind.

Getting DDoS'd was the worst, I hated having to explain that the internet isnt working because I am getting cheated in Halo. I remember one time my dad was like "Well if this is going to keep happening you're going to stop playing it". I had no answer for that.

If we're talking customer service in regards to this, we gotta talk about how Bungie handled this. Nothing EVER happened about it, game after game, video after video.

I remember when I was going for the 50 in Lone Wolves and I made a thread about dudes going Pink in Lone Wolves which is so blatantly obvious, not one thing happened.  "The Banhammer" though.

Nah it was some random. I've been hit offline by Palkia too though lol.
Having to explain to ISP customer service that my internet is being disabled because some butthurt child is mad he lost on a videogame is definitely an awkward experience
My mom was annoyed at it happening so frequently too. Eventually I got my own booter and DDoS'd any known cheater on sight before they could do it to me
Kept a list of IPs and everything so I could hit the ones with static IPs before they even got into the lobby.

Almost got kidnapped by a taxi driver once. Car got towed, flagged a cab down after a few minutes, we agree on a price, and once we get home he tries to add another $20 to the price. He tried to drive off with me still in the car after I said no. :smh:

Lyft and Uber ftw.:pimp:

 I remember. That's what started the whole "is booting cheaters cheating" argument in SV.

@Colombia  can explain it better than I can, but when you're playing video games that run on P2P servers instead of dedicated ones, everyones internet has to connect to one another in order to create that lobby. From there its as simple as someone running a program on their computer that shows what IP addresses connected to the lobby (Commview being one of them) and sending huge amounts of packets of data to their router to overload it and take it offline.

Dedicated Servers still allow for cheating, but its extremely harder
