Whats the worst customer service youve ever experienced? VOL...STORIES

Bahama Breeze.

Went in there, said my name for 2, got one of those electric pager things and waited. Busy night, waited for a group to get called so we could sit and wait at the door instead of just stand. (nothing unusual)

Wait another 15-20 mins, see an old couple come in, I get up so they can sit. another 10-15 goes by, the old couple gets a table. Now im like I know we getting passed up. I go and speak to the hostess and ask what up? She apologizes and acknowledges some sort of mistake occurred, and they'll be right with us.

2-3 more groups got seated....

at that point I said bump this and left...will never go back. been invited twice to functions there, never will that place get a dime out of me.

Just didn't get how you could see there was an issue or error, and still not accommodate/make up for the mistake. All good tho.

Edit: COMCAST SUCKS AS WELL.

Man i get bad service allll the time. Its to the point now where i actually make reference when i have good service because its so rare. That is why i stay at quick order places (chipotle, panera etc)

From making a reservation and having to wait 30 mins to be seated. To having my food take 50 mins to get out. Had a server leave her shift and not close out my check before (other server came over and was like ohhh Stacy left...she is off...uhhh we ordered dessert 20 mins ago). Getting served a beer i didn't order and then telling them it wasn't the beer i wanted and being told it was that beer like i can't taste the difference from an IPA to some random Wheat beer.

Yeah i always tip 15% min at all times. My mom waited tables/bar tended at nights most of my childhood to keep our lights on so i have a soft spot for the service industry workers

Went to Footaction during all star weekend in New Orleans. Waited in line since they were limiting how many people could be in the store at once. Went in and they ask u what shoe and size you went. Asked for the Jordan 6 Infrared 23 in my size and the guy says ok. The Jordan 6 white Infrared had also dropped the same day which i wanted so i asked for that shoe also in my size. For some reason, dude gets all mad and turns into the soup nazi and says no more for you. They didn't tell me there was a limit or anything plus i was trying to buy 2 different shoes. I get to the register to pay and told them what i had selected. I was only going to try and buy one pair. They said they couldn't find it and they ask the soup nazi who says in front of everyone that i wasn't allowed to buy anything. Dude walks away and i ask the people at the register why since I had never been in the store before. All the employees there were useless cause they didn't even try to resolve the problem. Security comes up to me and ask me to leave. Just left no point in arguing.

Went across the street to foot locker and told some people the story. They told me the day before there was another asian guy there buying a bunch of shoes to resell so they prolly thought i was the same guy. Smh. End up getting the shoes at foot locker who didn't care how many shoes you buy.

I went to go get some dress shoes. After ten minutes of searching I ask the associate if she could help me locate a pair that I spotted out in the open. She said she would need a shoe with a tag on the bottom. I explained to her that I found the shoes in the middle of the floor so that wasn't possible. She said she would help me but went on to talk to the associate who was about to get off. I go tear up the shoe section and find my pair as I get ready to check out she goes sir you need some help...I hit her with the

and say yeah I do but I'm going to go to the next associate so they can check me out

 My alarm company.

We had a power outage last summer due to a heavy storm, and once everything was restored in my house the alarm was still wonky. So I go ahead and call the company and the earliest they can send out a service person was a week later. No big deal. You would think that with me being w/o service for a week, and the company NOT being able to send a repair person out, I should get a prorated bill for the month, right? Nope. Doesn't work that way. I pay $44 a month, so $11 off the bill really isn't that big of a deal, but out of principle I decided to pursue the dispute I had.

I ended up talking with a real snarky lady on the phone...the conversation was VERY contentious. Whatever...ended up finding the number to their corporate office online and decided to give them a call. The lady on the phone told me to go ahead and call...she really didn't care.

I called corporate...got pushed through to the VP....and guess who it was? Yup, same lady I talked to previously

I just took my L.

This happened like maybe 3-4 months ago

So me and my roomies usually on Sunday go out for breakfast. We always go to the local diner but this time we all agreed to try another spot. We try out this spot called Waffleworks in Hollywood. The decor with all the toy cars was dope, that alone pulled us in. So we all walk in and the place was busy. We wait for the hostess to greet us, my roomate says "table for 3" to the hostess and the *** says "ok" with such a nasty attitude. That should've been our cue to go but we waited. We finally sit down order our food. We all waited damb near an hour for our food. The food was mehh. I ordered home fries and got this:

View media item 2010079
Those are not home fries

Long story short, we paid our tab and left. None of us felt like complaining about the service/home fries. Havent been back there since

absolute nonsense

Ya dudes out here giving away money for bad service are goofballs imo and I damn sure aint waiting more than 10 mins without getting some sort of service

boys waiting an hour and a half for food and still tipping? because you worried what people who can't even do the job you tipping em for correctly will think?

Big supporter of tipping, but this won't fly with me. IMO a tip is something you earn, and depending how busy it is, I'll wait 15mins or so, but no way I'm waiting these wait times listed here. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I understand the concept but i don't eat out a lot. Maybe once every other month at a sit down and wait on you type place. And i know my mom was late to work before because she had to drop us off at the babysitter or left us at home alone because she needed to pick up a shift that opened up. She has waited tables on 3 hours of sleep on multiple occasions. People have bad days I get it. At the end of the day i am in a place in life where $15-$20 won't hurt me the way it might a server. Dont' mean to side track this thread so carry on the stories are entertaining

You go out to eat you tip. It's pretty black and white to me.

20% isn't breaking my pockets my any means, if it would have then I shouldn't be going out to eat in the first place.

i went to grab some hot wings one time and i like em really spicy so of course i need water refills.

i needed water badly and my waitress was out there flirting with some dude the whole time while my mouth was burning.

that was the one time i've never tipped.

i wrote "not ****" on the tip line.

Once called once or twice a day for a week straight to schedule a doctor's appointment. When someone finally answered the phone, they said they were very busy and asked if I could call back in 30 minutes, to which I said okay.

I was so relieved that someone actually picked up that I didn't realize in 30 minutes the phone line would be down for their lunch break.

:x at waiting 75 mins before saying something, though

Just seen this topic and OP deseves to be in the fools wilding thread. You had NOTHING better to do than just WAIT an hour and 15 minutes to say something?

Youre obviously hungry if you was there, and you telling me you had the patience to wait? Cmon son, somethings wrong. I dont believe that story one bit.

I notice if you're ugly you'll get bad service. Everywhere I go I get free stuff off top without even asking.
