seems to check out but im not so sure and im pretty new to this, straps are the same suede, toe tread isnt too pronounced etc

For one thing, that's not the right box.  I have a pair of those and they came with the older black box with gray/silver top that flipped open.

They look the same as mine, kinda shoddy, little glue run here and there, and I copped mine on the release day from Finish Line so I know they are legit.

Ask the seller about the box and see where that leads you.
