They were great... They were consistently the only match I went out of my way to find each week... It got Cena, his opponents and the title over week in week out... It was an assured great match each week and reminded me of WCW Cruiserweight matches... The match itself was a draw each week even though you weren't entirely sure if what the match would actually be...
Just a great concept that was executed to perfection...

It reminded me a lot of late 80's-early 90's NWA/WCW TV title matches..Title was defended on an almost weekly basis and it elevated the importance of that particular belt..Which in turn made the US & WHC seem even more important because they weren't always on tv being defended..Such a simple idea that can turn the belt and the wrestlers into must see matches..

Personally, I've always thought of him as a corporate robot and outside of a million Make-a-Wish appearances, what has he really done for wrestling/Sports Ent? I'm sure the video package will be a tear jerker though.
