Might relocate there for a job, is it a nice place or not? I'm from Japan and Colorado...but I've been living in Chicago as well, just want to know is there anything to watch out for? Areas to avoid?

If you're easily shook by things, I wouldn't recommend it. The Bronx isn't what they show people about NYC on TV.

I don't really mess with it. There's some nice areas closer to Inwood by the water, though. But it's like an 1 hour train ride from Manhattan. I wouldn't suggest BX as your first location if you're not from New York. As you're surely be sent on your way for accidental street infractions.

...little know fact, although they claim Virginia, the Clipse are actually from the Bronx.

Raised in the Bronx, been here nearly my whole life

It's a beautiful place

Steezy took my up there once. I saw the "What's up my hats to big guy"

It seem like the type of place you wouldn't want to live unless you where from there.

I'm tired of staying in Denver, but after further research it seems that this might be a bad idea. I wouldn't know anybody, and all the young people my age (22) I heard stay in les and bk....I thought the Bronx was gentrifying? People trying to call it SoBro ?

Hell No. I wouldn't leave Denver. You could choose anywhere in NY and you choosing the Bronx? No dice papi

Wonderful place to start a family and raise some kids
Please tell me you're trolling...I visited NY earlier this year and only been to LES and Brooklyn...I know nothing about NY
Yeah I am trolling. Just to live in it is fine but it's not somewhere to hang out and you'll be riding the train for a while to get to where you do wanna go

The Bronx is aight man, there are nicer spots to the Northern side. But there is a universal bravado, don't mess with folks, but don't walk around like a *****. BX cats eat food in an almost hedonistic manner when they smell softness. If you have an ethnic group with a heavy population there, that's probably where you want to reside.

If they told L.E.S. is okay, they're lying. There's some parts of L.E.S. that's worse than the Bronx.

No one in their 20's lives in L.E.S. unless they're "FOB Asian", or born in the projects.

You're talking about Cooper Square, and that's not official L.E.S. That's like when you hear "uppity" and "faux-snobby" Washington Heights residents acting like the Heights and Central Park West are the same "Manhattan".

The L.E.S. is a playground, us older Millennials go there to play, and then go back to our respective neighborhoods.
