No Direct, No conference, just Zelda.

Went from expecting an NX reveal to this. I'll never understand this company.
Maybe more stuff will happen nearer the time

Great for the Zelda fans though.

They been said it like a month ago no nx reveal at E3
And why would they
They been doing great with their Nintendo directs
Where they control their time and can fully explain and go into detail without being rushed
When they do their directs
Since they are recorded they have time to come up with a message
And fully explain their vision as well as the hardware without time constraints
While being as concise as possible
I don't even think e3 would be the place for that
Especially since they don't wanna show off hardware
And have ms and Sony steal their ideas

You missed the bit about there only being one playable game on show for the console they plan to ditch this year. Where's the 3DS stuff?
There's also no confirmation of a direct.

I would argue that E3 press conferences are also more impactful than a direct for the general audience and since when is a press conference not a place to explain their vision when it's been the norm for years.
Look at Bethesda last year. They came to E3 and dropped bombs.

Which part of the Wii-U did MS and Sony steal since it came out a year before?

They've already said they will announce the nx at a later date
Which is safe to assume there's gonna be a direct
Also Nintendo hasn't actually been at the e3 show floor for about 2 years
The last 2
They held a Nintendo direct during e3
And had had playable games in a small section of e3
They haven't even did anything on the e3 stage
They've done their own thing separately
And it's been said that 3ds stuff besides that metroid spinoff
The federation force the soccer rocket league type thing
There really aren't any games coming out
Besides that and a few others
They will probably talk about in passing
But no reason to bring to the show floor
I think 3ds is gonna be dead next year
Nx will I think be both
I'm really interested to see what they do
Nintendo is best when their back is against the wall
Gonna be very interesting
