Yes ogs had zoom air in forefoot and so did earlier retros of the shoe

Nice video, with a very detailed explanation, fully agree with Nightwing, just one thing:
Penny actually played the entire 98-99 season, but it was shortened to 50 games due to the lockout. So technically this was the last season in Penny's career that he played every regular season game.
If I get the facts straight he wore this pair for 50 games, the Penny IV Playoffs for 3 games and then the Flightposite One Penny PE for one game.
How well they well sell, we will see I guess

I am disappointed that they have a blue air unit. But they look good otherwise, and they are definitely comfortable. I tried on the blue pair, and it was half size up for me.

Talking about the midsole cheap? At least it's like 30% of the shoe and not effing up the entire upper like the Air Up

I saw them in person yesterday and it wasn't just the midsole to me. The blue trim was pretty cheap to me also.

You mean by material or color, both? Not sure I remember correctly, but OG had a semi metallic sheen or pearl effect to the blue trim?

i didnt mind the color but the material was crap IMO. the feel of the shoe wasnt something that made me happy either. i guess they fall in the same category as the recent penny 2 retros.

Can't front I didn't even notice. My interest in Penny's sig has diminished immensely. Really liked the Air GO LWP, Flight One, and Air Lambaste (not his sigs but shoes he had worn).
