***Official Air Max Penny 4 IV Retro-2017?***

Man....ball dropped. The only color I remember having leather on the mudguard/strap was the cool grey patent leather, so for them to branch off and put leather on the retro makes me scratch my head. They basically just flipped the materials, putting suede or nubuck as the main body of the shoe instead of leather. And then replace the blue leather to blue suede or nubuck of the OG white pair? They used the shiny leather on the black/blue pair! C'mon...

Had high hopes for these. Should have calmed myself down after seeing the Air Max 96 atrocities.

Count me in on the Aways. Didn't expect Nike to keep anything original. It is what it is. They'll end up on discount and that's what I can ask for.
 
If the 2s are at outlets these will be.

I need them to retro the og cws of the 3 again.
 
I'm out. Nike just refuses to do some things right. The inside of the white pair being black is a no go. Should be a easy pick up for those who want em. Have at it fellas.

I might just be a Stan for Penny kicks.. But I don't mind the black inner quarter of the shoe. I've gotten used to Nike's little changes and honestly I want a new wearable pair so I'm in for the shoe.. Probably will get every colorway smh.. Lol

I don't think it's that bad. In all honesty I have a pair of OG's so that softens the blow of the changes. It pissed me off more with the lack of blue around the black on the last retro than the black panel. Idk I know some people will hate them but that just makes it easier for me to cop and probably at a deep discount tooView media item 2170709
 
The black medial side doesn't bother either. It balances the black on the lateral side. The lining should've been black too. Had the og so I'll be passing on that colorway for the Aways.
 
The OG's were a dream to ball in. Had a pair of the first Retros and they sucked....

Hopefully these will be better to hoop in....
 
black pair should've had a white outsole...whites gonna move smooth and sell on sale... these black pairs is gonna with da regular hood cats & DR Jays crowd.
 
OG White's look pretty spot on to me. In for those no doubt. The 4's are the only Penny's in the line that I dont have
 
I was always indifferent when it came to these.
Like I'll buy em for cheap but won't ever be on hardcore look out for em.
One thing that I never understood was the leather cover strip on the laces. The shoe already has no ventilation in the upper lol
 
ovens for the feet lol 06 retroes used to bake my feet when i used to walk blocks in them let alone hoop in them
