Yeah 1 for $0.00 and the other for the actual price. They're just verifying your info you gave over the phone I believe.

I say go for it. Explain what you're trying to do.
This.  Done it before.  Being extra nice helps.
I'm going to try it when these xx's come in. Someone a month back or so said you have up to two weeks to do price adjustments if something you see lowers in price. Same thing right with MVP passes.

Anyone have experience with getting an MVP but then returning the items you bought to get the pass? Do I lose out on being able to us the MVP?

Clown. Good luck with that

whats wrong with trying to save over $70? I thought thats why we're here in the outlet thread, to save money.

I have returned some items before and it did not seem to negatively affect my earned MVP. I was still able to use full amount.

anybody have any experience with returning something and then repurchasing with a coupon? It's probably YMMV.

Long story short, phone ordered ASG 11's. Came out to costing more than I would've just bought them from FTL & Co. So i'm thinking about returning it, and then have my girl behind me repurchase them with a Swoosh pass.

Have done it many times with no issues. Even when item was purchased 3 or 4 weeks ago. Always had my receipt though. Just tell them you want a price adjustment. When I paid in cash I always got cash directly back.

the thing is, with coupons, it doesn't apply to previous purchases. So my only option is to return and attempt to repurchase. Won't be doing it until the MVP passes become usable tho, so i'll keep the thread updated.

The point we've been trying to make is that its possible to get them to apply it to a previous purchase, if you ask nicely.

lol yes I know, thanks for the responses to all those that answered. Politeness is the way to go when you want to return something.

Smfh how u gonna call someone a clown for doing that when its been done tons of times. Saving $70 i'd do it with no question. Weather or not u were able to repurchase them that day. $70 is $70...

nah they charged me price of shoes twice spoke to managers said i had to talk to bank then bank saying i have to talk to nike...

Just an update on my outlet situation. They placed a phone order on Thursday morning, they said everything was good to go and I didn't see a transaction at all two days later so I called. They had sold the Kobes I was going to order.

The manager at the outlet was absolutely amazing and I am going to be giving her good feedback through survey and will find other ways to ensure she gets recognition.

She told me that she was very sorry that the shoes got sold and asked if I wanted a different shoe or size. Nicely, I said that I'm really only looking for a size 13 and there weren't any other shoes at the store. She told me that it if I could find a specific shoe at an outlet that I wanted to put it on hold and to give her a call. So I did this.

She called the store that I found the shoes at, she explained the situation, and basically made it so that they priced matched their current price, applied the 30% discount code, and gave me free shipping on my order. I am super happy because I was able to get the Rose Golds for $125 shipped. I didn't need to yell or anything I was just nice and I did say how excited I was to have the shoes secured and was disappointed that it happened.

While its perceived that Nike's customer service has gone hill, there are plenty of examples of how great it can be.

TL DR: They sold my phone order pair and made up for it by giving me the 30%off +free shipping
