2017 Nike Air Jordan 3 Release RUMOURED

Yo, screw this " Nike" branding crap. Why am I mad? Easy. They let me get old before they brought Nike back, AND THE GUYS MY AGE WERE THE ONES BEGGING AND PLEADING FOR THIS, WELL OVER A DACADE.

Now, who reaps the rewards of our years of unanswered request? Some damn pimple faced kids and middle aged white dudes who just jumped into this because they're having a mid-life crises and have disposable income.

I seen at least 3 guys in this thread that I know is at least my age if not older, and y'all seem quite chipper about this whole fiasco.

I'm 33, damn it. My years of hopping out of cars to holler at girls and show off my outfit and fresh sneakers is over. I got kids......

My days of walking through the mall in sneakers is dead. I got loafers.. ..

My time of believing that any of these mass produced sneakers have any TRUE TO LIFE VALUE, has long passed. I got bills.....real ones. Enough to know that , shoes ain't no damn investment.

What the hell can I do with these as an adult? Except buy'em and ACT like they'll have some substantial value one day, as I pretend like it doesn't matter that they didn't release them this way 10 or 12 years ago when I was still a kid and could've enjoyed them..

Lol ,they released them to a generation that ,they had to teach to give a damn about such a thing.... These kids had jumpmans on the back of their shoes they're entire existance. It didn't bother them until the hype machine swung in motion.....

I'll never forget going into Champs back in 2010, wearing a pair of Jordans with a "Nike" logo T, and I over heard this young girl who worked there tell her co-worker "Someone should tell him that, Jordans ain't Nike's".

I looked to see were they serious. When I gathered, they were, I smiled and ignored it.

Dudes went from that, to all of a sudden being Nike Air fanatics.

Funny, a short 4 years ago when black cements released I don't recall any youngsters being heart broken about the lack of Nike branding. I don't recall too many "OG Heads" having a meltdown about it either.

......Calm down bro.

For real, calm down. I'm older and I'm mad that they didn't retro shoes the correct way but oh well. I'm selling the majority of my collection pretty soon anyways because why stock shoes that will crumble eventually when they will keep releasing every few years. Back when retros first started you didn't know when you would see them release again and now it seems every few years so holding shoes ain't where its at anymore. I've been wearing Jordan's since 1988 and will keep most of my OG's because I played in them in high school and college. Most of this new stuff from 2002-present will be gone before summer ends.

^ ya same here... i ended up selling my CDP for cheap since the paint was chipping.. still got my 2011 pair DS though... will rock eventually

I was with you up until this part famb, you wanted Nike Air so you could floss? :smh:

Seems like you're just as bad as those pimply faced kids you mentioned, no real appreciation for the shoes themselves, but what comes with owning them...

bruh...you sound like a soreheaded old crank. Im 32 and dont even think like this. i just appreciate the Nike Air coming back for nostalgic reasons. if you're buying shoes to impress other people, you're in it for the wrong reasons and don't need them in the first place.

That's one conflicted cat.. so he wants to wear Js but has some laughable predetermined idea of what being 'grown up' means... i.e loafers n bills.. real ones?

..these dudes are on auto pilot; car payments, marriage, house w/a picket fence, loafers, 4 kids.. sounds like fun :x ..hows that kool aid?

Anyway, these will be had!

It's not that deep  Grown *** man out here getting mad because Nike didn't retro shoes in the manner you wanted before you hit a certain age where YOU personally feel that you can't wear certain shoes anymore? Talking about showing off your outfit and sneakers to get props from other people. Don't even worry about it man because a lot of these kids you're looking down on do the same things and are just like you, only purchasing various shoes because they're popular.

This kool aid is pretty good, fam. Wanna sip?:D. Except for that loafer part... Can't rock with those, fam.

I would gladly love to see a nike air on a clean non og air jordan but it's gotta be a good colorway. Nike Air looked dope on sbbs, frags, knicks and any other non og colored 1. I could def see it looking dope with something like the black cat 3's or Pure money 4s. But the colorway has to be clean.

In reply to that 33 year old guy. Dog, you can be old and still get the shoes you want. You aint 33 going on 75. Im only 27 and 33 is only 6 years from now that aint gonna get me to drop all jordans and get loafers and air monarchs. I mean it sucks you cant get out the car and mack on the honey dips and floss anymore but so what. Haha Id much rather be subtly cool like if someone notices my fit cool but Imma be wearing my stuff regardless because I love the shoes. If you really wanted the nike airs you shouldve done what thousands of others did and get the ogs or first gen retros and soleswap and paint em. You sound way too bitter for such a miniscule thing that you claim has no substantial value to your life except to stunt on cats.
