Beignets/zeppoles or churros?

I know beignets and zeppoles aren't exactly the same but they're similar enough for the people who've had one or the other.

Anyway, me and a bunch of homies have had a heated debate the past week or so about which are better and it's pretty divided. Half of us say churros the other say beignets.

I say churros, especially with some vanilla ice cream.... :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

What do you say?
 
Ooooh this is tough.

Never had a zeppole but I'd have to go with them beignets from Downtown Disney.

I'm Hispanic if it matters.
 
I only know what churros are :lol:

I'm guessing the others are also some sort of fried pastry covered in sugar?


what about churro ice cream sandwhich?

I don't eat sweets/pastries but I'll def try this.
 
IMO churro over beignets tho both are amazing.

I'm a custard freak so custard cannoli and Russian Napoleon with custard is up there and then the classic Krispy Kreme glazed donuts.
