Whats going on my NT fam...I was listening to the radio riding into work today and although ive probably heard people talk about taking risk and making changes a million times it usually goes in one ear and out the other....this time for whatever reason was different...The thought of risk actually stuck in my mind... I looked at my life and I started thinking what risk have I taken in my life and what process do I go through to access that risk? I didnt come up with much...In my opinion I live a pretty calculated life and don't do much to rock the boat at the age of 30...my process in making decisions is taking in as much information as possible and accessing how much i could lose if things did not go as planned and the conclusion is i dont lose much but i dont have very many gains either...as the saying goes high risk high reward...i have a buddy and he is a constant risk guy and he see a lot more fails then rewards but i admire the risk aspect of his life...On a larger scale I look at yeezus and he takes risk for example he makes a album like YEEZUS or TLOP and its a total different sound from what people want from him... however i feel about those albums (or clothing) i respect the risk and taking a chance on himself.

I want know what you think about risk and what methods you all use to access it...I do not want this to turn into a music thread or a single subject matter thread...if you grow apples and switched to chemist what pushed you to take that chance? Where you scared d of failure? Also give me some other examples of risk that people took in their crafts..if a artist usually paints this way and changed it up lets talk about it or if a architect builds this way but switched it to another type of building structure lets see it...

I apologize if this is too long or doesnt make sense i struggle with thought to paper...but I know you all wont disappoint...bless

I thought u were talking about the board game...skimmed what you said and saw a Yeezus/TLOP mention.

Gotta take some risk in life. It's harder when you have a family to take care of but people should try to establish a platform that makes the risk possible. For example, creating an emergency fund will make it a lot easier to take more financial risks. This can be something like switching jobs or careers entirely. People are content with being overworked and getting a 1% raise each year when they can hit the market and make 30% more by going to a different company or simply just asking for a raise. I like to talk to people that are older than me so when someone tells you the best thing they did was switching companies to do 30% less work and get paid 50% more, you know it's possible  Keep in mind that the grass is not always greener on the other side and not all risk are necessary.

Project risk management  is an important aspect  of project management. Risk management  is one of the ten knowledge areas in which a project manager must be competent. Project risk is defined by PMI as 'an uncertain event or condition that, if it occurs, has a positive or negative effect on a project’s objectives'.

Good Project Risk Management depends on supporting organisational factors, clear roles and responsibilities, and technical analysis skills.

Project risk management in its entirety, includes the following six process groups:
  • Planning risk management
  • Risk identification
  • Performing qualitative risk analysis
  • Performing quantitative risk analysis
  • Planning risk responses
  • Monitoring and controlling risks
Project Risk management is the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunities.
