I use a waterpik and flush them out. If you get one don't get the machine, get the one that attaches to your sink. It's cheaper, and works better.

You got them for prolly 2 reasons. Either diet or the shape of your tonsils. If diet you might be eating too many grains like rice or oatmeal or maybe you aren't chewing properly. Certain tonsils are shaped weird and it allows food to get stuck in/on the flaps. When this occurs the food rots on the tonsil and you regurgitate the tosiloliths. You can get your tonsils lasered as a remedy.

I personally changed my diet and chewed better. Haven't coughed up trash juice in years.

:smh: :smh:

Think about it like this
If you're apporoached by a street cat, and he starts acting unruly with the tooly and decides to put the ratty to your mouthpiece (in a robbery attempt) you gonna gag? You gonna let another man make you vomit your meal?
This rep take it

I use to get these from eating right before bed. Food residue would build up and mix with acid reflux thus making the pockets in the back of my throat. Changed my diet and eating habits and i no longer get them.

Anyone have these? I've had these as a kid. It's like small white balls that get stuck in your tonsils. You cough em out and they smell real foul.

What is this and how Yall get rid of em? Right now I'm just poking me out with my fingers, but Im tired of it.

ny takes another L

I have never heard of or seen this (googled) until today. This looks gross. I would just get my tonsils removed if I ever experienced this.

Never heard of it. Judging by the responses, must be an NY thing.

Googled it, **** is disgusting.

I use to get them when I used Listerine. When I changed to Tom's of Maine, never got them again.

actually started getting them last year. annoying as hell. don't hurt, or anything just annoying that it occurs. never happened in my life until now so its weird. and as random as it started, its been slowly happening less. no explanation. however, the tonsil where they come from does seem off, so ill prolly get it checked out.

been using listerine my whole life. dentists say peroxide is better for your mouth tho. :nerd:

You shouldnt use peroxide every day. It's good to debride a few times a month, but peroxide prevents from new tissue from growing.

Floss -> Gum pics -> Brush -> Tongue scrape -> mouth wash

My mom was a dental assistant all her life, she was like a Nazi growing up  Never had a cavity, though. :pimp:

I get these from time to time. I imagine it was a result of protein shakes or maybe sleeping with air conditioner/fan on...

but idk honestly why they only come time to time.

If I can offer a suggestion, use Listerine in the morning and at night and gargle about 60 seconds.

Also use the back of your tooth brush to gently force them out.

Do people who have their tonsils removed still get these?

Damn man, I get these :smh:

Sometimes it feels like something is stuck in my throat/sore, so I just clinch my throat and they squeeze out

Could get tonsils removed because of this, but IDK, I guess my problem isn't as bad as others to justify doing that

Had these for years. They're basically infections - typically won't cause you much real harm, but they're pretty gross. They also make your breath smell terrible - just an FYI.

I ended up getting them removed when I was 18 or 19. Honestly, I think it was worth it - that is, if you can afford to take time off for a bit. You'll be drugged up for a few days and the scabs that form actually make your breath smell way worse and cause a decent amount of pain. Still - as soon as I was all healed up, I never got them again (obviously), and my girl at the time also told me that my breath didn't smell anymore (poor girl didn't have the heart to tell me it smelled in the first place). It's been nearly five years now and I haven't yet had any trouble related to having them taken out. It's not a bad move.
