No it's not... if you're under 30 and aren't educated on HIV it's because you don't want to be.

There's been aggressive safe sex campaigns since I was around 17-18.

It's the fact that the LGBT community just lives high risk lifestyles.

There's people that commit to others who are infected, and while they practice safe sex, sometimes they may cheat.

It happens in straight couples too.

But it's more frequent in the LGBT community, and because of the dangers of anal sex, it's easier to contract the virus.

Thats why u dont extrapolate... U thought because da bronx is da poorest county in NYC its also da most inundated with HIV..i just posted a link that shows Chelsea is in fact da most HIV infected neighborhood in NYC.
