Sup fellas,

I recently got a job offer within my company in Dallas, Tx. I have some friends there, but i havent visited the city since I was 12 (27 now). Can you guys maybe assist me on the areas? I have a wife and 3 kids, and i'm not trying to live in a bad area.
Also if you guys have any tips or know of fun things to do you can put that info in here as well. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks NT

Do you wanna live close to your job? How do you feel about commuting (and toll roads lol)?

Where is the company your going to work for located?

Are you going to live in an apartment or house?

The suburbs like Los Colinas/Valley Ranch, Plano, Frisco, Addison, Grapevine, The Colony and Carrolton are good places with ample stuff to do and experience.

My job is on Bryan st downtown. IDC where I live I just dont wanna be in a bad area. I'm tryna find a 2br for less than $900/month with a commute of no longer than 45 min in traffic.
BUT idk if im spoiled with my living situation here in PGH so idk the normal commute for a Dallas citizen.

Forget everything I said about the suburbs. That commute would be horrible. :x

Also you won't find a 2 bedroom in Dallas for less than $900 thats not in a "bad" area. But working Downtown, I would look near Love Field, Medical District, Highland Park and Uptown.

It takes me 20 minutes to get to and from work during rush hour I live and work in Frisco.

Ain't no way he's making that trip in 45
