GOAT APP legit?

so i dropped off two packages at ups saturday. one for goat and one for stockx. i was in a rush and there was a line so i just dropped them both off. ive been getting notifications from goat saying tracking has not updated. i check and stockx tracking shows it's been picked up while the goat package shows nothing. is there anything i can do? i feel like goat will cancel the transaction soon if nothing starts to show.

Not much you can do unfortunately, that's why for these time incentivized sites it's best to get scanned and have a receipt showing you dropped off along with a scan. Now for eBay I just drop off at the post office

Agreed

I am shipping a package from another address that isn't my default address.. has anyone been in this situation? Where they contacted GOAT to have a new prepaid label printed with another address? From what I've seen UPS will reject the package if the address doesn't match an instate address.. For Example, a UPS Label that says NY even though the package is being mailed from PA.

Try to contact GOAT but the problem here is that GOAT may take a while to get back to you. Always attempt to change your return address in your profile before requesting for a label

that ebay thing is gonna have alot of issues. i can see it already. either unqualifed legit checkers or people will still be trying to scam and say they got fakes.
What difference does it make? If eBay authenticates your shoes, no longer your problem. Obviously they're trying to replicate stockx and goats platform where the seller is protected against these scams.

Who says eBay is gonna offer that protection? They've been taking loses for decades off dumb stuff. Your payment is being processed through PayPal, your money and transaction aren't safe and free and clear like it is with goat

You still have to deal with disputes and returns with other issues and not just the authentication process. People can return for other reasons, only thing eBay will do is authenticate, all others rules will still apply and if the buyer wants he/she can file a dispute/claim in order to return the item and get a refund

They haven't added shoe verification atleast yet

Just for some handbags and maybe other high end stuff

They do offer double money back guarantee though
They're gonna lose a lot of money trying to verify shoes, there's cats who've been doing it for years who get fooled on the regular

Anything run on my credit card associated with PayPal is safe [emoji]128521[/emoji]

I'm saying PayPal can't forcefully charge your card or bank but your account will go negative thus being sent to collections lol

Just explaining the way it will be if eBay does go the hyped shoe authentication route

They go to GOAT to be authenticated before coming to you

Who says eBay isn't going to offer that protection? Until eBay does release an authentication service for shoes its all speculation.

Welp, I've been living under a rock this whole time. Cold City told me about GOAT months ago. I signed up in August/September but they still haven't approved me SMH. Whatever the case, last night I couldn't sleep so I started randomly looking up some shoes that I plan on buying this year and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. 3 pairs of shoes that I need that typically go for $500, $700, and like $1300 are on there for like $300, $450, and $750. I am literally in disbelief. I just read a lot of what y'all are saying (I'm lying, I read the first page) and it seems they're super legit so I'll be buying stuff from them really, really soon.

I really don't understand this post

BRUH. The shoes get authenticated before getting to you. If they are fake, you will be refunded.
