GOAT APP legit?

Welp, I've been living under a rock this whole time. Cold City told me about GOAT months ago. I signed up in August/September but they still haven't approved me SMH. Whatever the case, last night I couldn't sleep so I started randomly looking up some shoes that I plan on buying this year and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. 3 pairs of shoes that I need that typically go for $500, $700, and like $1300 are on there for like $300, $450, and $750. I am literally in disbelief. I just read a lot of what y'all are saying (I'm lying, I read the first page) and it seems they're super legit so I'll be buying stuff from them really, really soon.
Yea but it's bad news for sellers trying to get market value

Man put fragile on the box and packaged it real good and it look like UPS was playing kickball with the box. Lol no discount

Technically those are market prices. If sellers are selling and buyers are buying at a price then that's market price for that particular market. Now if there are other markets selling (actual sales not just list prices) for higher than that means as a seller you need to switch where you sell.

Wow I see what UPS did. The label is on the shoe box, so someone try to go in my box or the box got so damaged they just sent the shoe box and put a label on it. I'm confused on why they didn't just replace the box instead of shipping it like that. :smh: View media item 2311953

I have just received my order but damn guys had to pay $189 for taxes wtf :smh:. No bueno for International Fam. I have bought (AJ's) previously again from US and it was like $60 (with USPS) for taxes. Do you know if there is a difference if they sent it with USPS or UPS?

u should just message them to try to avoid that issue again. thats brutal.

Whattt... are you shipped like this.
That's horrible.
Never sent my shoe without double box. Its just $1/box if you don't have the original one.
Such a cheapskate.

Never used GOAT before, but I'm thinking about buying from the app soon. Can anyone tell me if they ship the shoes with signature confirmation. I've had theft issues in the past, so I want to make sure.

They use UPS Ground and USPS Priority to ship to buyer after authentication. However, they don't use any signature confirmation services whatsoever to my knowledge.

Previously, GOAT used USPS Priority and OnTrac to ship to buyer and USPS Priority to have seller ship to GOAT. I'd also note that they recently (past couple months) have made the transition of only providing seller with USPS Priority labels to only UPS ground labels instead. Not sure if they still allow USPS Priority as an option but since I'm in California, it makes little difference since UPS Ground usually takes 2 days to go from Norcal to Socal and vice versa. I'd add that I prefer UPS anyways since they're much more reliable (not once have they forgot so far) at scanning packages and less likely to lose a package imo.

When you buy something on GOAT via Paypal, does the money go to an GOAT Paypal account?

sold some stuff on stockx.  to anyone familiar with the labels they use, can i give those boxes to the usps mailman? theyre ups. just curious.

Sorry phrased it weirdly. When you pay by Paypal, you're sending the money to GOAT (aka GOAT PP account) and the seller cashes out from the "credits" they receive, correct?

The money you pay goes to GOAT, then GOAT takes their cut and pays the rest to the seller.

I saw a listing for $299. I thought you could only list in $5 Increments? Anyone have insight on how to set prices this way?

For all those who were grandfathered in do you remember when they will start charging us for cash out fees?
